This thread is as the title suggests an announcement of a new Beastmaster and Summoner exclusive LinkShell on the Valefor server.
This Linkshell was created in the hopes of displaying the power of bst and smn alike. We are aware of other bst only Linkshells already on Valefor, but what we hope to offer is a “dedicated†and “active†Linkshell. Our goal is to make a LinkShell that offers the capabilities of being able to camp and kill HNMs/Gods, run dynamis, do various BCNM/ KCNM 30 and 99 alike, and help w/missions. Most importantly we just want to make a Linkshell where people who share an affinity for these to awesome jobs can just kick it and have a good time together, while experiencing all this game has to offer. We believe that if we can arrange enough active people w/these two jobs pretty much anything is possible.

As most Linkshells have certain rules that their members abide by, so do we. Please keep in mind that these are very preliminary and are subject to change as the LS evolves. I believe though that as of right now these rules are fair and not too oppressive of a player.
Linkshell rules and etiquette
1) Respect: Always treat your fellow LinkShell mates with respect as well as anyone else you interact with while wearing the Tribal pearl. Your actions reflect directly on Tribal and rude and disrespectful play will not be tolerated.
2) No drama: It happens from time to time that you may have issues with someone within the LinkShell. If this does happen please try and work it out with the person(s) directly. In LinkShell fighting only serves to demoralize everyone. If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own please contact a sack holder and ask them for help. It’s what they are there for and they will be more than happy to help however possible.
3) MPK: MPK is a big no no. Even with the MPK update it is still very possible to MPK as BST. If someone wrongs you please hold yourself to a higher standard and do not MPK. If a situation requires some sort of response please look to a sack holder for guidance. Again it’s what they are there for and they will try and come up with the best response for the situation.
4) Multiple pearls: At this time Tribal will not limit it’s members to only the Tribal pearl. As time passes and more members are recruited and the LS evolves this rule may change but as it stands you will be allowed multiple pearls. We only ask that you visit the LS forums often, wear the pearl as much as possible and always wear the pearl during LS events. Hopefully the Tribal pearl will be something you will be proud to wear and the only pearl you need.
5) Botting/Cheats/Hacks: This sort of behavior has no place in Tribal. Either you play fair and by the rules or you do not play all.
6) Other jobs: Tribal is only open to players who have BST or SMN leveled to at least 50. Also the expectation is that you will level the job to 75 in a somewhat reasonable time frame. If you have other jobs leveled and that particular job might work better for whatever reason you may be asked to bring it to a LS event. This will be the rarity since the whole point of Tribal is to show what a force BST and SMN can be!
7) -Drops/Loot: There is little doubt that BCNMs and ENMs will be a large part of what Tribal is about. As our roster of members evolves and strengthens we will begin to camp various well-known HNMs as well as begin to farm/kill sky gods. Loot distribution as of right now will be discussed in a democratic fashion by its current members. While attaining end game gear is one of the most fun and rewarding parts of playing FFXI, I believe that helping your friends and LS mates attain end game gear is just as important and rewarding as receiving it your self. This is the type of friendship and camaraderie I would like to establish in this LS, and I would like everyone who joins to try and have a similar attitude. Help your Ls become stronger, and your LS will do the same for you.
