Unicorn LS: WorldAlliance – to counter the Japanese and English speaker’s border

In the Unicorn Server, it seems Japanese speakers and English Speakers are having difficulty to join up. I am sure we have all seen the (Japanese only) or (English X) comments. The way things are going. I feel that it will create a border between different language speakers. This is really sad because Final Fantasy is a great place for culture exchanges.

This is why Drago and Rexsama (in game names) have made a move by starting a linkshell WorldAlliance.
The aim of the linkshell is to:

Proof to players that Japanese and English speakers can have FUN together.
Proof to players that we CAN communicate with just using simple words.
Proof to players that we can all share the gaming experience without the unnecessary culture border.

The goal is to stop this (Japanese only) (English only) inside <comment>s.

We will welcome all friendly players who respect any language speakers
We are looking for good communicators to become one of the linkshell leaders, especially Japanese speaker who is willing to become a pearl stack holder to increase current linkshell members. (The whole linkshell will become pointless without some Japanese members. >-<

For anyone who feels the same way, please join and make a change to the current situation.

Thank you for your reply Vairu, to be truthful, we have not yet managed to find any members so far. T-T. Well, we have but none really stay in the linkshell for long because they all have their own linkshells to run. If you are interested and have similar ideal, we will be glad to have you on board and become a pearlstack holder.

At the moment, the linkshell is basically empty, as I am still searching for members who are willing to become one of the pearlstack holder.

Vairu, Rexsama have manage to search on you while you were online, but seems like you were AFK, I hope we will find another opportunity to pass on a linkstack to you.
If by any chance that we are still having difficulty to contact you in-game, it might be a good idea to let me know the time that you are usually online, and I will try and contact you then.

Worldalliance is neither an elitist nor a hardcore group. We are trying to open a space for players who enjoy a chat/ accompany from any language speakers, a place for culture exchange. To really let members feels like playing an international game. To encourage gaming experience with different language speakers instead of closing ourselves only to the players who speaks in the same language. Then, we can all enjoy the Final Fantasy XI online international partying system, the way it was designed for.

Worldalliance will always be open for ideas. Currently, there is a lot of work needing to be done. Any help will be greatly appreciate, we are looking for


Linkstack holders: Kind of like a staff in the linkshell, their role is to promotion/ invite members.


Linkpearl holders: As a member in the linkshell, you should be showing the best of “Gamership� that helps to develop a respectable reputation in the Unicorn server. With that, we will be setting an example to other players regarding in-game manner, hopefully this will help the (Japanese only) (English only) situation.

Someone who can speak fluent Japanese to promote the concept to Japanese players.

Other desirable support such as:

A worldalliance Web page. That will help advertise and promote the concept. Helpful to be in both Japanese and English.

If we can manage to develop the root of the linkshell, with a good reputation and enough acknowledgements from the players in unicorn server. It may be a good idea to display “worldalliance� in the comment box. And hopefully worldalliance will become a Brand name that guarantee fair and enjoyable game play.

For anyone who has interests to take part of any role mention above, please reply to the forum and the role that you will like to take part in.

Please do not worry if you feel it involves a lot of commitment. We are quite layback, we are simply starting a ripple and watch the ripple becoming a wave. Anyone is welcome to join and let just say, sit back and enjoy the ride. ^_^

ok, dude i can't find you anywhere!! I searched in POL and there's 12 Drago's but all on other servers, no Unicorn!!!! You can't be found lol, i'll find rexsama and add you in FFXI when your on
