Since there are Linkshells for just about anything...and chances are their a few of these floating around too; but regardless I decided to start a Linkshell dedicated to crafting. It will be called "UnlimitedCraftWorks" and basically I am looking for a little feedback, because I haven't heard of a LS quite like this...though like I said, I don't doubt that a few exist.
Granted, right now my strongest craft is Alchemy at 20; but idea behind it is a group of people working together in hopefully a mutually benefitical manner.
Basic idea(s) are as follows (and these are real basic having not really fleshed out much in terms of details:
1) Fellowship between trades. Crafters with different skill levels and specialities working together.
2) Member discounts. Members of the LS could sell items to each other at a discount, or trade for items with similar value. Could be benefitical when you get to higher tiers of the crafts and want some of the higher end items.
3) Referrals. Say your strongest craft is clothcraft and a fellow LS member hasn't bothered leveling that skill. And that member comes across a player wanting a particular piece of armor created. That member could set that player up to meet you and pick up the item, or could act as a go between for you and that player. Maybe pay the player that finds you the business a small finder's fee.
Like I said, its still a rough idea and I was curious what other players thought about the idea.
