looking for Dunes party

Hi there, im looking for a party for the Dunes...it seems like everytime I go all the partys are full, ;_; I really want a subjob.

I would suggest you solo for at least another level or two in the areas next to the Valkurm Dunes before looking for a party there. I didn't start partying on mage jobs until level 10 White Mage at the earliest. Also while seeking use Search comments and put what spells you have including ones you have the scroll for and will learn at subsequent levels. Put your maximum MP and Int score and if you use drinks and +Int food try to also put that in your search comment. These all make you look more attractive to party leaders. If still no one invites you, you can either go back to soloing or try to form your own party. Type the following:

/sea all 10-12 inv

This will allow you to find people between level 10 and 12 all over Vana'diel who are looking for a party and you can then send them a /tell and ask them if they would like to join you for a party in Valkurm Dunes. Chances are they'll agree, but if not then I guess you don't really have a choice but to continue soloing.

while you wait for group, keep killing easy mobs too. worms in either konschtat or lathaine should do nicely.

I've always thought that BLMs should head to the Maze of Shakrami. That place is a Mage & Ranger wet dream.

Get a WHM, and a bunch of mages and NUKE away at the Maze Makers. A full party can run to Lv.15 quick. At which point a party of 4 mages can continue on for a while.

The only ~down side~ to doing that, is then you only have 3 levels to get your subjob items. But I've loved partying in the Maze.

Yeah, actually I did level up to 13 in Maze of Shakhrami on my Main, but that was because I started in Windurst more than anything. I then logged back on during JP time and manged to hook up with a JP Party leveling in Buburimu Peninsula and proceeded to gain 2 levels in under an hour... we literally had the whole place to ourselves. That was a long time ago though, I don't know how popular the regions are for partying nowadays.
