Hi all!
I want to start with a little history of my life in Vana'Diel...
I first started at the NA PC Launch in late October of `03. Ah, the memories! (I played on dial-up, and the innitial install took 12 hours) I played as a Hume for ahwile, but then decided that I liked the Mithra, and Denali was born.
In case anyone really cares, the name is both historical and symbolic (I didn't name her after the GMC family of quality trucks) but rather had Dragoon Job in mind, and thus wanted the Native American meaning of "The High One" or Denali.
Well, I played FFXI for about 1.5 years from launch. Then, my RL friends who wouldn't play FF with me convinced me to play EQ2. Bad mistake. I played for several months, then quit that and came back. Those same friends, bless their hearts, (STILL NOT PLAYING FFXI WITH ME) got me to leave again for Dark Age of Camelot. .... ... . I played that for another 7 months, and NOW I'm back to Vana'Diel. Can anyone else relate to this story?
It looks like all of my old companions have since moved on from FFXI, and I'm a Mithra without a home. I am a casual player, usually playing about 2 hours at a time, 4 to 5 days per week after work. Most of my jobs are from 5 at the lowest up to 32 WHM at the highest, so I have lots of stuff to do still. As you can see, I'm a very casual player, and anyone else who likes to just do a quest, or get a mission done is welcome to PM me if I'm on! I'm not a big 'GRIND ANOTHER LEVEL' type, if it's merely grinding for level's sake. I'm open to the idea of joining a LS, or even starting one. Please mature players only, I like peaceful and relaxing game time!
