Has anyone else had problems figuring out when Besieged (if ever) is going to happen on our server?

I'm logged in during all times of the day (I keep my mule up on my laptop at work while I bazaar) and I frequently (read: hourly) check the map to see if there will be an invasion anytime soon.

Every time I check, two of the 3 enemy bases are at 75%, and the other is usually around 60%... so my question is... WHEN is Besieged happening on Ramuh!?!?! I even check before I go to bed (usually around Midnight) and we're still at 75% or so.

I know that it is possible for Assaults to weaken the enemy and push them back a few percentage points... is it possible that our server is so good at Assault that we're not even giving the beastmen enough time to gather their troops? Or is it just bad luck on my part? Or am I just plain ?

Help and/or sympathy is appreciated.

Yes and Yes.

Besiege happens almost daily. If you check with the gate guards in Al Zhabi, you can see the number of Besieges that have taken place and how many we've won in a row. Go check it periodically when you don't think besiege is happening, watch the numbers go up. BTW, been in 6 besieges over the last 2 days.

Okay, and here's a hint about timing on besiege. When you see the enemy forces begin to gather strength, mouse over their region on the bmap, and see what the number is. Take that number and subtract it from 150, then multiple the answer by 3, add 20, then divide by 60, and you'll have a rough estimate in hours until the beastmen reach the city and besiege starts.

Remember, the formula only works if the beastmen are gathering strength, it's a time in hours until beseige starts, and it's a rough estimate, "ballpark" figure, of how much time you have. Sometimes they'll be a little faster and some a little slower, but that's because of the Archaic Mirrors they may have. The affect the mirrors have either shave or add seconds to each point accumulation, but 3 is a good multiplier.

Typically, beastmen gather strength in the time between primes. Or when multiple HNM are up at once.

Aim about 2-4 hours after one of those happens, and you should be able to make a beeiged.

Or You can Check Region Info and See the Stages, when it's Stage Lv4-5 they are about to Attack, Just head to the City and Alliance up!
