PC issues~~

Hey guys Having dreaded PC issues.
Its the dreaded \windows\system32\config\system~ corruption error.

Im gonna try to fix it hopefully today or so, but with work and other obligations I may not be able to online much this week. I may have to restore the wholesystem and as such FFXI >< I dont wanna.. but what has to be done has to be done.

Hopefully by thursday i should be good to go.

FYI if you back up your "\Program Files\Playonline\SQUARE\FINAL FANTASY XI" folder and restore it if you reload your PC or anything, all you'll have to do is a file check (like 12000-13000 files ><) and you're back in the game. No downloading should be necessary. Your configurations and macros will be retained as well.

This topic is probably dead but let me advise on how to fix this.

The windows/system32/config/system hold registry information. Also it holds the backups.

You can easily fix this using system restore in asfe mode and if you cant access safe mode then use windows recovery console. Instructions are on the microsoft website you just have to search the exact error it gives you and Microsoft has an incredible knowledge base that can fix almost anything you come across.
