Just got the game again today.

I haven't played this game since probably 2003. Maybe early 2004. I wanted to get back into the game after thinking about what I wasn't able to accomplish here. I wanted to go Black Mage this time around, and do a Paladin on the side. However, I don't know anyone in this game or anything about it. Was just wondering if there are any linkshells with plenty of active members that picks up 100% newcomers? I still have to request a WP to this place while I'm updating.

Edit: Btw, I dont have the new (new to me anyway) expansion. That isn't required to play is it? Once I get addicted, which is highly probable, I will probably end up taking a day off to go and buy it.

If you Chains or Promathia (CoP), no, thet expansion isn't needed to play. 'Least not when you get started. You should buy it though once you're ready to advance further within the plot.

Duh we have over 300 members and usually 25-35 on at a time, people come and go as they please. Pop in to say hey, etc. We have people on at all different times of the day. Not just EST.
