Greetings, Leviathan Dreamers.
I've seen a few names here as I skim through some of the posts with a specific goal in mind. Some of you already know me and the mission I'm on for the sake of our server. This post is for those who do not check Allakhazam, however, as I seek more supporters for the cause. Let me explain.
It's come to my attention that since febuary (moreso within the last two months), that many armors, weapons, medicines and foods are climbing into insane amounts of gillage, and are still climbing at a staggering rate. Most these prices arent a drop in a hat for someone with a 10 million weekly income (Or higher), but its been proving to be rough stuff for those of either lower ability or people who just dont have as much time to play as others.
Some of these increases have come from certian people and orginizations 'monopolizing' BCNM drops, NM or HNM drops, or the general claim of 'hey, that guy is a gil seller'. However, I've found that the most common source of the price hikes is that greedy players keep boosting the prices of the crafting goods that are required for various 'most desired/elite' gear. I am in current beleif that there are far more players seekign vas amounts of profits rather than gil sellers trying to control who gets how much.
As of October 2004, I started a list on Allakhazam's server forum to keep track of people who were crafting, in hopes to aid the community by putting people without strong LS support in touch with people who could meet their needs for CHEAPER than AH prices. This wasnt always possible when the goods were more expensive than the resulting item. Said list, however, has grown to more than 80 users since last year, and continues to be updated whenever I've had the spare time to do so.
Within that time, I temporarily ran a linkshell that went by the name of CraftersInc. It has been dead for about three months as my ability to lead five events a week put too much stress on me and not enough epople stepped forward to help with the goals preposed by the shell. However, one event left a mark in the minds of both common players and those gil sellers we fought to compete with. The {Full Attack!} raids. The most well known of these raids was the night in Giddiues, 28 people attended for over 8 hours, killing everything that moved and didnt give an inch of ground to the gil sellers. More than a full alliance swept the zone clean and kept it clean, all drops going to crafters who needed them and people who needed Norg fame.
Missed the NM by half a second though. Ah, but I'd better get to my point before this gets longer.
I'm here to look for crafters who dont visit Alla's community boards, and people willing to help farm or HELM to aid other crafters with their skillups. People who have alllied themselves with me and my mission to get cheaper goods to the people who need them tend to lower prices for others in the 'co-op', and frequently do free synths or drastically low priced ones for anyone who has donated to their skilling.
If you'd like to join the Underground Crafters, I'd appreciate replies with crafting levels and character names so I can add them to my book and my overall list.
{Full Attack!} raids are still being held when I have the opportunity to oversee the events and make sure items get where they need to go.
As support increases, I continue to work on new ways to help aid the community through beating the heat of rising costs. Questions, comments, suggestions and flames are all welcomed (though flames will be generally laughed at).
