I found out that I can level Paladin to 48 but im getting nowhere.
Evreyone and their mother is Paladin, leveling is a bit more difficult than White Mage which I leveled up on the Midgarshromr server to 54 before I left to the Lakshmi server to play as a Hume melee.
The people are generally swell, but linkshells are the bread and butter of FFXI. No matter if you play on Lakshmi or Midgarshromr, the LS your in help determines your success. You help your fellow players and they help you if things are played right. You need a linkshell that has a broad level range and is generally plesant to associate with.
The late 40's is not a kind level range for some people. I remember in Midgarshromr people were cussing out each other when they were camping for lich and people were crying due to the Genkai 1 quest. Another fellow player on Lakshmi is thinking about leaving due to the lack of respect for Dragoons in groups. It took me lvl30 to lose my mojo in Midgarshromr, howver level 44 was the level that driven me to insanity in Lakshmi.
I know I cannot be moving server to server to find the right bunch of people to play with. How in the #$%^ will I reach lvl75 with that approach. I guess the motto is if I cannot worldshift is that I'll need to change jobs.
