    Good items to farm?

    Hey, i have been playing FFXI for about 2-4 good months now. Used to make my money by fishing moat carps, but the price for them have gone down. I was wondering is there any better fish that i can get with 15-17 fish level, or are there any good items i can farm that may give me a decent amount of gil fast.

    get yourself a Holcyon Rod and about 3 sinking lures and fish for gold lobster right outside of port bastoks zone to north gutsberg. anything with "!!!" will be monsters...so watch out...also i think its the only coast without a Goblin Bounty Hunter...

        no by the lighthouse and Bubbling Bernie. They don't sell at the AH all to well so i would recomend NPCing them. If you can fish them without breakin lines and losing lures then theres no loss in gil for bait only if you need to buy more lures. So NPCing is the best idea...usually go for 192 gil per fish so around 2.3k per stack...and if you can fish multiple stacks...say 6 thats 13k with just fishing...then count in your fatiuge which usually slows down around 100 fish and you should be fine...Gold Carp are nice to reel in too but can't remember where to find them...

          Ok cool, i may try that then. Any other ideas that anyone can through? If its any farming ideas my main level is a 37 monk if thats also of any use.

            mine in Zeruhn Mines, kill the bats and get the wing and sell it, flint stone can be use for quest, do the quest that are repeatable that is easy. Crafting will be another way to make some gil

              I'll mention some tried and true items to farm that get mentioned in every post about farming: Beehive chips, silk thread, grain seeds, and beastmen blood. Look those up on teh Wiki if you're unsure about where/how to get them.

                Hey, thanks for the help people. I have decided to go with farming Gausbit Greens and Animal glue.
