Hmmm, Have you ever gave it thought that its not ice, but maybe some form of Giant Crystal or a Giant meteor that looks like ice because of the -Light- surrounding the giant meteor. Remeber, its dark there and the spell is casting a Light onto the meteor. but hey, I could be wrong.

Meteor spell is set to L200 with 1MP cost because it hasn't been officially prepared for BLM's to use. There's even a Meteor II in game data.

I myself t hought it was Meteo, but it was Blizzaraga. If it was Meteo, it would have a greater splash radius. It's freaking meteo for crying out loud. Now if they were able to cast Ultima, that woudl have wasted ALOT more Beastmen.

I always thought it was Blizzard they where casting........ i'm petty sure they would make it more obvious if it where meteor they where casting.

It is not a meteor if it doesn't come from space, they form the ice in the sky (if i remember correctly), and it just falls onto the orcs, that is not a meteor.

Acctually when they cast the sky OPENS up and mis-shapen rocks fall. Meteors are also caught aflame that would explain the light around them. And Blizzard and Blizzaga look nothing like the spell in the opening. And this is a 'magic spell' not an acctual physical Meteor. I just threw some common sense in with game information but it seems apparent it is definatly Meteor/Meteo.

Thats my 2 gil... or cents... whatever you prefer.

lol, wow i can not believe we are even questioning this. It is blizard! When they cast they shoot something blue, and frost looking, then big ice rocks come down, crash on them, and ice falls apart. If it where meteror don't you think it would leave a crater of some sort..... I don't know about you, but every meteror i saw left a crater

I haven't seen the intro in so long, now I'll have to go home and watch the damn thing. I can remember a "rock" like object hitting a ton of Orcs, but I also recall the fireballs and ice crystals. Time to go home and enjoy the intro again!

Well Sesshomaru decided to have a little fun and bring back what was over a 1 year old thread. Then everyone else decided to keep posting bumping it back up by everyone I mean us 4 >.>

As for the figure being dropped that is definatly a big shard of ice probably the Blizzard V that the Federation of Windurst console though of probably dropping in the towns for the sunbreeze festival to cool everyone off >.>

Nah, they are still used quite often..... In just 5 min. there was like 16 new posts across the forums that were made. It's all just on were you are looking in the forums and if you are searching for new posts or browsing threw the forums.
