Worth it to Return?

I have a character on Asura that I haven''t played in years. I stopped playing because I couldn't stand the glitchy and klunky UI in FFXI.

I love the jobs, and the story...and even the graphics... I just hate the terrible gamepad based UI!

Is it worth it to come back now? Are there many players? My character was a 32 whm/16 blm... would I find groups?

-Or should I just wait for FF XIV?

If you didn't like the UI before, you probably won't like the UI now since it hasn't changed.

..but my question wasn't just a general question about if the game is "worth it"... I mentioned the server and asked if groups are hard to find.

I was kind of hoping someone from that server could help me with some info....

I play on Asura and still love the game and everytime I log in there are tons of people on. There are always shouts in Jueno and Whitegate offering LS and event groups. I play on a computer with a controller and have no complaint on the UI so that's something you'll have to decide if you want to come back.

The link in the post from Mhurron answers most common questions. Bottom line is only you can decide if you want to play again. There are plenty of us here that still play and enjoy it but that doesn't mean you'll personally find the game "worth it".
