Hello all, new to Asura

Hello all. New to Asura. My name is Clair and I am a 24 years old woman living in Newyork. Been a FFXI fan for a long time. I recently bought a Xbox360 and bought this game for a great price of 19 dollars. I have been learning some basic stuff within town in the game and watching some videos for starting out. FoV is fun but 1-10 being a WHM seems a bit long.

I am seeking a linkshell, a linkshell who wouldnt mind someone fairly new to the game. I perfer voice chatting as well so it'll be a plus if the linkshell has skype or vent or a speaking voice program. I work early in the mornings (4am) until late morning, so the times I'll be on around will be 5pm-onward until 2am EST time on most days(work days) I also have MSN, so if anyone would like to chat there my MSN is: Wilprowa at hotmail.com I'm not sure how many responds I'll get considering how new I am, but in past MMO's I have played, I dont think I have too much to worry about...

Hi Wilprea and welcome to Asura!

You'll find that losts of people are on and around in the evening and late night, since I'm on at that time, and I see plenty.

White Mage I think is the hardest to level before you get a sub. Use Feild Support to get Refresh and Regan or drinks. Selbina milk is a good Regan drink and Orange Juice should do pretty well I believe at the low level if you have some gil for food. I suggest stopping at 18 and getting BLM and RDM with WHM as the sub to 20. Then pick up WHM and take it to 30.

As for linkshells. I don't personally know any social LS that I've heard using voice chat, you find that mostly in Endgame LS, and each social one to you speak to is a little different. Some will help you with activities and missions and others are more just chatrooms more or less. Where you start knowing people and get LS invites now is easier when you start to level in parties and get to Jueno around 19 or 20.

Hiya..

Replying a bit after the fact, but I doubt it will hurt.

I'm pretty much completely new to the game, (played briefly a few months after launch), and I've always wanted to come back and try things out again...Why I've waited so long, I don't know.
