So, it's come time for me to look for a linkshell. I've been playing since the NA PS2 release, but I've been very casual/on break for nearly the past year and a half (thus I'm a bit newbish when it comes to ToAU). I'd like to start playing a bit more again, so I'm going to need some people to actually play with. Ya know, that second M in MMO isn't just there for show (crap, rereading this I just realized that rhymed). 
I tried looking for a decent database of linkshells on Asura, but there doesn't seem to be one anywhere that I've seen, so I figured I'd just post this.
My stats :
Character Name : Gorvi
Jobs : 75 BLM, 57 BST (AF 2/5), 51 RDM (AF 2/5), 45 THF, 45 WHM, 33 NIN, 31 MNK, 26 WAR, 15 BLU, 15 DRK, 14 RNG, Everything else 10 but PUP (1).
Missions : Rank 10 Windurst [All OP warps but Gustaburg, Tavnazia, and Movalpolos] (Bastok and Sandy 1), ZM 14 Ark Angels, CoP 3-5 Darkness Named, ToAU 12 Royal Puppateer
Crafting : 86 Fishing (Lu Shang + Apron), 60 Alchemy, 60 Cooking, 30 Smithing, 21 Woodworking.
It's worth saying that I'm going to be staying relatively casual. By that I mean this : I'm married with a 6 1/2 month old son, and they will always come first. Period. No exceptions. That doesn't mean I wouldn't be playing at all though. During the week, I generally have about an hour before work (4:30AM-5:30AM) and 3 hours after work (8:00PM-11:00PM) available to me, all times EST. The weekends are somewhat open, depending on when the baby is napping, but pretty much open game after 8 PM (including Fridays).
My BLM is mostly retired, though I do still have average level 75 gear for it. I'm totally up for meriting BLM and using it for endgame activities, it's just no longer really my focus. I'm mostly focusing on leveling BST at the moment, and I've been having a ton of fun with it. The only jobs I won't be leveling are RDM, NIN, and WHM, as I level those with my wife, and she's just not playing right now. Everything else is pretty much wide open.
I don't have any bad blood with any players that I'm aware of, I'm normally a very nice guy. I have a pretty decent amount of time at work to spend online, so even if I may not be ingame all the time, I will definately be a presence on the LS forums (assuming they exist, of course).
I like doing the "helpful guy" thing, even if my playtime is fairly limited. I have no problem with just logging on and helping out, as I don't feel any huge rush to do anything really anymore. I've been around the game for nearly 3 1/2 years now, so I really just want to enjoy my time, not stress myself out. That being said, I do have goals ingame. I'd love to finish up the Zilart missions, and make further progress in the CoP and ToAU missions. I really enjoy the story in the game (I've completed just about 200 unique quests if that's any indication).
So yeah, that's about it. I fully realize that any Linkshell out there would require an application and trial period, which completely makes sense. Compatability with the Linkshell would be very important. Well, hopefully I hear from a few people about this. Hope to see ya soon ingame!
