Complete Returning Noob (if that makes sense!)

Hey there everybody,

I've lurked around on this forum for awhile reading a lot of the older posts and enjoying the slew of information. Last time I played FFXI was right after ToAU came out...so it's been awhile to say the least (only made it to 35 or so before friends quit). I have read that most of you guys seem to play on Cerberus (or quit, etc.) and was wondering if anyone would be up for answering questions from a new player? Not sure what to ask now because I remember a lot of the basics and have read about the FoV additions, etc. Anyone want a pet noobly derpasaurus to feed advice?

Will probably be running around as "Soleilequil" in game (Sol for short).

Thanks for the link to that post! I guess I will be making my character on Valefor (once I finally get through all of the installing and updating, etc.). Hope to see you soon in game!
