Whats a Gold World Pass?
A Gold World Pass is a 10-digit password that allows players to invite their friends to join their adventures in the same World while receiving an added incentive. They may be purchased in-game for 1000 gil and the term of validity is seven days (Earth time).
Once you have given a Gold World Pass to one of your friends, all that remains is for that friend to enter the password on the character creation screen when first creating a FINAL FANTASY XI character.
A Gold World Pass can only be used once. Thus, if a player wishes to invite multiple friends to play FINAL FANTASY XI, a Gold World Pass must be purchased for each friend.

Looking for players to join me on Cerberus Server level 1-70 If you are new I can get you a world pass.

[Step 1] The inviting party purchases a Gold World Pass. (That would be me)
[Step 2] The inviting party gives his/her friend the Gold World Pass.
[Step 3] The friend creates a character using the Gold World Pass and you're set to go!

You do not get those items without a gold worldpass, but neither are any of them particularly useful and nearly all of them can be obtained from doing mini-games during holiday events. The miniature airship furnishing if neither player cancels their content ID for a year is the one nice thing, and that just looks pretty in your mog house.

I'm sorry I think you need to get yourself up to date before you even consider running a linkshell.
I wouldnt stick around in a linkshell where the leader couldn't tell their ass from their elbow.
I don't say this to be mean but so much has changed and there's still things that even experienced players are still gtting to grips with.
It's great you're so keen to play with other GMT players. I wish there was people like that on my server.
In general linkshells are smaller than they used to be so don't be disheartened that you don't have a 40-50 man army.

I'd suggest finding your feet and make friends as you play and recruit as you go. Once you have your bearings and a rough idea what you want to do, use the wiki and research as much as you can.

Our community is tiny. The few players that do wander through have already been scooped up.
You come across as totally inept and completely out of touch with the game, not to mention the fact that you were disrespectful to Uncle Tasky in the last thread.
You're not going to find what you're looking for here, so go bump your ZAM thread instead until Vlor has to lock it for you.

I think you're going about this the wrong way. If you're looking for people to play with, you're probably going to have a lot more luck shouting in Jeuno during your play times, or possibly just responding to shouts and asking to join the LS of any friendly and competent people you party with.

If you're determined to start a new linkshell, your recruitment strategy needs some work. You've provided no information about the shell, its name, or purpose, or anything. Even the ffxiah profile you link to introduce yourself contains no information other than a wanted item list that would be meaningless to a new player. You should at least say a few words about yourself to give people a feeling for what kind of guy you are and whether they'd be interested in playing with you. All you've done instead is basically throw out a small bribe of items for people who are starting from scratch.

Here's an example of a very successful new linkshell post that went up here several months ago. This shell attracted dozens and dozens of members in just a few weeks. The names are removed but you get the idea. If you're determined to go this route, you need to do something more like this:

All you guys have done right now is just flame this thread so far, I was just recruiting players my way. But then again if you don't like it move on and if you are thinking on baning me because of something like this go ahead since I could all ways come back with dynamic ip,dynamic mac clean flash clean cookies any so on...
I made this thread for my goal but seem like you guys done this two times now. Could have saved the embarrassment and PM atlest but no I wanted to tell the whole world.....
