I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but the game with all of the expansions including the three mini expansions and all the Abyssea expansions (totalling nine expansion packs of varying size/quality) from Steam for pretty cheap. The download isn't huge either. I know I didn't pay much more than £10 for it.

I was gunna use Steam as my first option, but didn't they get hacked a while back? That's the only thing putting me off about steam, the hacks :/

You can pay via Paypal if you are concerned about security but hacks are a risk you take any any online retailer really.

I have personally not had any issues with it anyway.

As you are a taru and you've just started, you must use /panic as soon as possible.

If that doesn't make you squee, nothing will.

I'm one of the people who still posts here but quit the game a long time ago. I like to troll around and talk to these guys, and I miss the game a little, but not enough to start over. So I stick around and read up on what's going on. XD

I bought the steam version for £17.99 a few weeks ago and finding it good. You also get a Destierier berret which once registered in square enix you find a festival moogle in your starting city and get it. Gives def 7, auto refresh and regen and auto reraise as well and is in effect till you ding 30 also gives an exp bonus. Has been very usefull.

I'm not sure on the subscription fee but I think just the one character is about £9 for a months full service.
Personally I have 3 characters active. My main character one to hold items and one to hold equipment. That bumps my subscription to £10.36 per month, just incase you are curious. You'd probably be fine with 1 mule "storage person" for now Ive never really had a problem keeping hold of everything even when inventory space was as rare as rocking horse poop.
