Coming back and had some questions....

Hey everyone! So I was thinking about coming back to FFXI and had some questions!

1. Whats up with the new level cap? Did leveling get easier since I left 4 years ago?
2. Whats party play like is it still hunting for parties for hours on end without anything to show for it?
3. How active are the servers since FFXIV launched?
4. What jobs are being accepted for party play (if any low level parties exsist anymore)?

I'd really appreciate the help.

1. Yes, most levelling is done in Abyssea at the higher levels. It's not unheard of to be pushing 200k/hour in a random shout group.
2. Party play is nothing like it was before. To look for a party now consists of going to Gusgen Mines or Crawlers' Nest or Bost[tab] (depending on level) and shouting for an invite. One usually comes in a few seconds.
3. The same, though the play style has changed (not because of XIV)
4. All are accepted for party play, because levelling is mostly done in alliances now.
