Starting FFXI

Hello all! I am a new player and will start playing in a few days. i am wondering which server would be good to start on population wise, or can i join someones linkshell (thats like a clan or guild right?) Maybe some one can shoe me the ropes to playing. Your replys are much appreciated.

We have a linkshell on the Valefor server that is full of people of all levels. We are always happy to take in new or returning players to FFXI, so feel free to look one of us up!

Anywho... yeah. I started the LS they're refering to. You're welcome to join us. As Murphie said, we have many members spanning all level ranges. You'll never have to level alone, I assure you. Plenty of our members are brand new and frequent the lower level areas.

If you follow the link that Armando posted... or the one in my signature below this message, you'll find all the information you need to learn about our group.

Additionally, if you follow the instructions at the bottom of the original post in that link, you'll gain access to our LS's sub-forum section on this site where you can read up on our activities and check the calander for upcoming events. We even have a membership thread where you can learn about the other members... and in some cases, see their character's pictures.

If you start up on Valefor, send a /tell to either me or one of the sackholders listed in the membership section of the sub forum and we'll come out to meet you and get you introduced.
