Not to tag off the OP's thread but I am installing FFXI right now and wish to join you guys! Played the game along time ago but never got to far...

Absolutely. Just follow the link in my signature and make sure to do the following:

1. Pick Valefor as your server
2. Be a Tarutaru (optional)
3. Follow the instructions to gain access to the LS's sub-forum
4. Once in the sub-forum, find the "Members" thread and contact one of the Sackholders in the game to come meet you to hand off a pearl for the LS
5. Have fun!

It's as simple as that.
