  • Bad Server Experience; Help! (I'm a noob)

Hi, so this game has not gone we'll so far at all. I need a server that's going to be a good experience for someone that's starting over thank you.
I've tried Ifrit and CaitSith but they don't seem to be good.
Ive heard Asura is good in this area, is that true? Thank you for all your help.

It's always a bit difficult at first to meet people.

Not sure about Caitsith, but Ifrit is pretty top heavy, and can be somewhat difficult to find low and mid level people to play with. That said, with the mini-version update today, I'd expect more low/mid level activities going on on every World for the next week or two.

Well I've been a member on and off since 2007 but I've been stuck in noob land for as long as I can remember. I can't ever seem to find help and it just makes me want to give up. Blah. I just need a LS who can help me get on my feet and get to 30 or so. I'm totally lost and confused. It's sad because I really do love the game, but it's hard to love something that dosent love back.

Well, what advices I can offer is this:

        1. It's not a race; there's no penalty to leisurely learn everything. (And, if you bump into something you're not quite sure how to figure out, people on this board are pretty good at answering.)

2a. The squeaky gear gets oiled; and,
2b. People who are helpful tend to get help in return.

Don't be shy about asking for help, but remember to offer help to others as well.
