Ok so I'm trying to add you (Yygdrasil) to my friends list but it keeps saying Target out of range. Out of range...REALLY? I'm so sick of this game already, and now it's giving me this nonsense?!

Not to ask a stupid question... but are you on Valefor?

If you're not on my server and your server does not ahve someone named "Yygdrasil" it'll prompt you with that message sometimes.

If you are on Valefor... I'm confused too. I'll be on all day saturday and all day sunday. If you want to find me online then, I'll definately be on. I have a lot of stuff to do.

I think the person has to be logged on for you to add them.

From what I remember you could add the person regardless of whether they're logged in, but you'd have to wait 'til they logged on and accepted the friend request.

Not to sound condescending but are you sure you're actually sending a friend request and not a party invite?

I'm 100% confused. I went off what Armando said and removed a friend of mine from my list, asked him to log off and then sent him a request... out of curiosity. It went through without a problem. For giggles I sent 3 other requests to random people whos names I saw on FFXIAH.com... everything went through. Also: I have a new BLU friend who got a LUL out of the fact that I sent him a request for no reason at all.

No I'm definitely in FFXI. FFXIV's graphics aren't anywhere near horrible as FFXI's is. Regardless, I used the chat command- /add friend Yygdrasil

Aks is correct. The command is /befriend yygdrasil (no spaces between be & friend)

If performed correctly, you should get a little popup that asks you to confirm my name.

Also. I double-checked and I definately have not maxed out my friends list... so that's not a problem either.
