I'm on my out for Easter dinner with the in-laws, so this is a hurried first post. I apologize if I am posting this on the wrong board.
I just started FFXI after a few years of wanting to try it out, and now that I've gotten into the game, I can't help but notice a significant lack of social interaction.
I'm playing on Bahamut, and I'm just generally looking for somewhat casual guilds or people to play with on occasion. I only play a few hours a day, and not every day, so I don't really want to join a guild that requires a lot of play-time commitment.
I've played a lengthy list of MMO's in the past, including Mabinogi, Dark Age of Camelot, Everquest, and DFO, so I don't think I will require too much babysitting. I am not looking for handouts, powerlevelling, or someone to run me through quests. I just want to build a circle of friends so I have someone to talk to and play with.
