go to one of the servers that just got another server merged with it, shit is crazy! like 3k-4k people on during NA prime time. Whitegate is a shout fest of awesomeness. It's has been many many moons since there were entire random convo's going on peppered with different quest missions, or NM hunters, or Dynamis shouts or hell even Linkshell shouts! Makes me happy I'll be back to playing hard again in a few weeks.

I didn't see it mentioned, but a quick boost as far as leveling goes would be to catch a summoner burn in Korroloka tunnel...
I can shoot you details on how it works but basically, you go from level 11 to 23-25 in about 30 minutes.
I will stress these things if you do it though
1. Don't get "Addicted" just do it once maybe twice on the job you want to level
2. GO AND SOLO CAP YOUR SKILLS. Level 25 can run around the dunes and pick up almost a level ever 1 1/2 hrs, with FoV and Exp rings.
3. CAP YOUR SKILLS.
4. low level soloing is pretty standard now adays, your best bet is to solo, learn your job/farm, with your flag up.

But really, this week is a bad time to be making extrapolations about what things are like at Dunes level. Any time there's an update with new content, people drop everything else to try out the new content, even if it is completely abandoned by the next update.

Campaign is a nightmare right now. 80 people in a zone means mobs that die almost before you can /attack on them, and NPCs only make it worse. I just fought a Garlaige battle just so I could have one that was half reasonable. It was this bad when the update with Union drops came out, and I think some medals came out then too. Now I think everyone is just in it to grind the new medals, plus we just had a server merge here so there are twice as many as there would have been. But 80 people in a campaign battle also means 80 people not leveling subjobs in Dunes.

Good point but really I sticked to what I was doing lol... I just stick to one thing unless I am forced to change though.

Something else that hasn't been mentioned is that solo you get soooo much more gil than partying, especially Beastmen's seals.
