Question about LSs/party static

Hello people i just started playing the game about a month ago. I've solod to 21 allready, been in a few parties here and there but haven't met any real memorable people. I know that link shells are FFXI's version of guilds and was just wondering what lvl should i grind for before i start looking/applying for one?

Also just wondering if anyone on the bismarck server would like to go exp farming and do missions and such a couple days a week maybe more on a regular basis. if so let me know and we can talk

Most of the time you get into an ls in the lower levels by just meeting people, liking someone, befriending them, and then asking about the ls they are in. If it sounds interesting, you can ask about how you can get a pearl. In the higher levels, where you have access to Dynamis, Limubs, Einherjar, etc you'll probably have to go to an ls's website and apply to be approved for a pearl. But there are some endgame ls's that hand out pearls like they are candy but you might want to think twice about some of those.

Hey finally someone joined on my server gimme a /tell in game my chr called barsha and I'm on most evenings from about 7pm GMT. I've been playing long enough to be able to answer any questions you may have about the game.
