I'm a new player and I was just wondering what server I should join as newbie?

Really, you're good joining just about any server. Keep in mind that most of the starting areas aren't as crowded as they used to be. So if you don't see a lot of people running about when you first start playing, it's not because your server is dead.

I don't believe you can create new characters on Bahamut and possibly Odin right now, because they are full or close to it, but most other servers aren't bad at all, population wise. We have a broad spectrum of players on different servers here, so almost anywhere you land there will be someone from these forums playing there.^^

Personally I play on Seraph. Nice server, several forum members, generally an ok number of people playing at any given time. But I can't speak for the other servers.

Just pick one whose name you like and start having fun.

There are quite a few servers that have new players starting out now. Try to find a server with a nice active community.

Yeah i agree with murphie, any server is fine to start on. I myself am on Remora server. Very nice server with lots of people from different parts of the world. I have a linkshell (guild) on there as well called 'theblackdragonclan' and if you were to come onto Remora, we would be more than happy for you to join us. Not just the linkshell, but the whole server seems to be very friendly compared to my last server, Titan. Titan was ok but over 90% of the population were End Gamers and didn't wanna help a new player on the game, while on Remora, I have had help, and i have helped others who were just starting up.

If yuou are interested in joining the Remora server send a /tell to jamiefulton, thats me. Or if i'm not about to try setha, domokun, sivren, rhunon, elizar, jaydog, ulrik, goldiex, dakaran, echos, sanada, waren, silverwing, hollowwind or skud. There are others who can give you a pearl (that allows you to communicate with other Linkshell members) but they are the only ones i cud think of from the top of my head

I just started playing as well, on Hades. I see quite a bit of players leveling up new jobs and subs around Windurst. Your welcome to come join me as I start out.

I usually play around 7-8 EST.
