hi guys im new here in final fantasy XI world,just finished my 30 day trial and honestly have enjoyed my self for the most part,just find it difficult at times to find a party and trying to get to grips with the macro thing is "doh" at times >.<.

Just want to thank all concerned for such a great site here full of useful information and may it continue to be helpful to me and all the other wet-behind-the-ears-newbies out there!

I'm glad finally one of the newcomers has enjoyed themselves, you really need to have an open mind and sense of perseverance to do well in this game. Good luck on your future adventures

Yeah you right,an open mind is needed so is patience and research.I did a lot of research on here and the wiki,to aid me in getting started,learning the controls and various other devices.

And now i'm ready to take on the beastman.......ok maybe not yet,i'll wait a few more levels >.<

To be honest, I didn't really use/understand macros until I became close to 75. Macros are hard to understand (at least they were to me, x.x) but once you have a grip on them, they make life a whole lot easier.
