So I just bought the game today, its still downloading the updat elike 1 hr left =(

Anyways, If anyone would give tips/help me in game etc that would be cool :D

I dunno what world Im on?/server whatever you cal it ...still downloading update haha....

Well, welcome to the game! If you get on Ramuh, look me up and I be glad to help you. If not , then you picked a great web site to come to for info, the people here are really helpful and have alot of knowledge to help you do your best in any job you choose.

I will be on usually in the mornings roughly about 9 am Mountain time. If you do join ramuh I can give you a linkshell so you will be able to get help while you getting use to the game.

Just so you know Im a complete absolute noob at this game, tell me what to do and I wil do it XDD So yea, any tips in the beginning? Not sure what class I will be prob mage..=p

If you want to be mage I would Suggest RDM. I myself being a red mage, I found it easier to survive in the begining as well as you get both White and black magic spells, granted not all of them , but when you go to lvl the other jobs you will spend less on getting the scrolls for the WHM and the BLM cause you will have already picked up most of them.

Given all the account hacking that's been going around lately, some rules to follow:
1. Never hand out your account ID or password to anyone else. Not LS members. Not friends. Not even people who claim to be S-E employees.
2. Install security software on your PC, if you use one. (Antivirus and Firewall should be the minimum.) Keep your PC updated via Windows Update.
3. If browsing the web on a PC, use Firefox, and install NoScript. Don't enable any script from advertisers. Heck, don't enable any site's script unless it's absolutely needed and only if the site is trustworthy. NEVER allow scripts globally.

Following those rules will go a long way in protecting yourself. (There are alternatives to Firefox, but Firefox is free and well liked...)

Well Iam at work atm and I do not get outta here untill 8 am. But if you do get on in the next 30 mins and you choose Ramuh as you server I would say to look up these people and tell them I sent you. They are members of my Linkshell and they are great people.

Look for these people: Tazz, Bucky,Pendora,Lunaped,Transam,Vilik,Dreku,Midnas

One of these guys should be online right now and tell them I sent you and I told you I would add you to the Linkshell, And hopefully I will see you online tomorrow.Also our Group has a website I would say check it out.

Yea I know that stuff, I used to play Maplestory, never got hacked, never knew how people could even get hacked if you didn't give out your account number etc how can u get hacked haha..

Keylogger.

Apparently, hackers are able to exploit vulnerabilities via Internet Explorer's scripting system, and install malware (such as keyloggers) on Windows PCs in very deceptive manners.

that would be a tell type this : /tell <person's name here>

f you play on PC open the menu and set the keyboard configuration to compact this allows you to use w,s,a,d to move.

/t name is how you whisper someone
/l is ls chat
/p is pt chat
/sh is shout
/s is say

I think the manual contains a but load of different commands, I know in the original one it did not sure as to the newer ones since its been along time since I needed it.
