Newbie Help

Hello, I'm new to playing Final Fantasy XI Online. I just started playing yesterday, at lvl 5 and I'm having trouble surviving, even as a Warrior. And I don't have enough money to buy new equipment, except for my new hat. Anyway, I was wondering if you all had any advice for a poor little newbie like me. This is probably on the forum somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

I'm also having a problem of finding the people that I have to go to to start a quest. And even then, the ones I have I can't get what they want because I have no money. Is there an addon or something that can help me my quests?
