Hey all whatsup? I am joining FFXI a little bit later on today, and well I just came here for some tip's on the game. Also, to gain some information, and more knowledge of the game. Well I will be a Tarutaru WHM, when I join. OK, I got some question's that I would like to ask of all you before I even start. 1) Are there any good FFXI link's? (I tried searching for them but I cant find any still.) 2) Should a WHM use a staff or a club? Well, as of right now that is all of the questions that I can think of.

EDIT: Also, one more thing, is it ok for a male to play a female? Because I want to be a female Taru, but I am male. The only problem that I have with that, is being mistaken for a girl lol. I also, just prefer to play Female characters, they are more cute to me xD.

Feel free to do what you like: almost all of the Mithra I see have guys behind them. So, I suppose you could do the same as a female Tarutaru, because Taru > all. (And, yeah female Taru = teh cute.)

Those are the two big reference sites that most of us use. They have lots and lots of good imformation.

For Club vs Staff, you will end up using both through your career as a WHM. I personally have used a staff for most of my career so far, but I became almost oblivious that Clubs exsisted, which later proved to be more effective than the Legionnaire Staff I had been using for so long. From lvl 1-10 though, you could get by with using either Club or Staff.

Hehe, that's understandable. I personally love the FA female face. All the female characters are more appealing to me.
