well i just picked up FFXI after a girl i know has convinced me to play, ill be playing on shiva,

i am having a problem connecting/registering because of the new wings of the goddess.

i read on the FFXI mainpage that there was registration congestion n e of you experiemcing the same thing

Yep. Too many people trying to register their expansion all at once. Give it a while. Check the Playonline page and just kick back, it will probably be awhile before its fixed. (I'm betting Monday, but hoping for before that.)

I think a lot of people are experiencing the same thing, I was just in another thread about the topic. Hopefully they'll get it straightened out soon though. I imagine it must be crappy to be new to the game and not able to register, as much as it sucks just not being able to register the one expansion.
