    Brand New to Vana'diel

    Hey everyone, I'd just thought I say hello here. I'm brand new to Final Fantasy XI, I just brought it last week for my PC. This is also the first time I've ever really played a online game, I did Everquest a few years ago, but couldn't get into the game. I quit after playing it after a couple of weeks, however Final Fantasy XI I have been able to get into alot. It just feels totally different then back then, however what sucks for me is that I don't have any friends who play Final Fantasy XI (hell, I'm like the "odd" bunch with my friends)

    Anyway, I play in the Asura server, currently I'm still trying to get up to level 10 (finally I got a name I liked, I kept deleting my characters so I know the basic's of the game somewhat, but still learning more). Well, also I like other things too... so anyway, hello to me, I guess.

        I've *yet* to see Melancholy, but I do want to. Badly. I'm just lazy tho.

          Welcome to the game and to the forums. I hope you have a good time in the game. Don't let people discourage you of what you want to be in the game.

                Two problems there:

                1> I'm watching Family Guy and The Matrix when I LPF lately.
                2> I do not have episodes of Melancholy to watch while LFP.

                I also have my DS and PSP eating valuable LFP time, as well as other movies on my 360. Meanwhile, my BLU on my PC is chillin in Port Bastok, about a lvl and a haf away from 75.


                And I still have a 66 COR I need to finish levelling, too.
