I can answer questions but I 'm a soloest. So most of my tips are for doing quests by yourself not partying. P.S Welcom to the greatest place ever.

A quick word of advice then for your new warrior. I know SE started you out with a sword. Pretend they didn't. Warriors have highest skill in axes and great axes, which translates to higher accuracy and dmg, as well as stronger weapon skills.
The first axe can be bought from an NPC at lvl 1, believe it's called the bronze axe. The first GA can be gotten at lvl 5, it's called a butterfly axe. Enjoy your time on Vana'diel ^^Comment
