Hey!!! whatsup? just thought I should let you know a little more about me sense I joined FFXI earlier today, ok?!?

How lang have you been playing FF?: Sense FF6

Why did you join FFXI?: I heard about it from a friend never really did it though to bad he quit like a year ago, but I hope I make alot of new friends!

What do you do when you are not playing FF? Shopping,hanging out with friends,doing school work,etc....

FFXI Server: Siren

Other MMO's?: None this will be my first, and I love it already!!

Well welcome to the site and I hope you find all you need here. As for whm look in the jop specific forum for whm theres a really good guide in the sticky that will help you in the lower lvls. Hope you stay playing ffxi till the bitter end (like it will ever end LOL )

Ok well that is a little bit about me, I am injoying this game so far, if you guys have any tips for a whm please let me know! Also I am on the Siren server if you must know, hope I can meat people on Siren on here, well thats it bye!!

Tips for a new WHM... let me think.

#1. Regen is your friend - start using it as soon as you get it. Keep it on the tank, and use it on melees who get hit here and there.

#2. The tank is your friend - keep him happy and you'll be happy.

#3. Lay off the heavy cures - A couple Cure IIs spaced out is better than one Cure III bomb dropped at once. Spacing lower cures, along with regen use is the best way to keep everyone alive without pulling hate.

#4. If you have to use Benediction, STAY PUT - Don't try to run away from the monster. You can't outrun him and all you're doing is making it harder for the tank to regain hate, and for the DDs to finish killing him. If you use Benediction, be prepared to die. You don't always die, but expect it. If you have a good Paladin tank, hopefully he'll use Invincible to get it off you.

#5. NEVER cure yourself during a fight. Go ahead and throw on a regen, but someone else should be curing you. If you need a cure, then obviously you got hate. Curing yourself only stacks the hate higher and makes the monster want to hit you more. A good Paladin will know that the best way to regain hate in this situation is to drop his highest cure on you.

#6. That's all I can think of now, go check out the WHM forums if you haven't yet.
