Samster what do you mean how do you start the actual game its says beside your post that your main server is alexander so you must know how turn on the game but ill just ignore that. Are you trying to play on a pc, ps2 or xbox 360 i think its more than likely that your playing on a ps2 because anyother platform than that its as simple as running the game and filling in the answers to the question
But if you are playing on a ps2 you need a hard drive for your ps2 an internet connection and a network connector for your ps2 (don't ask me where to get these because i use a 360)

Killer......I know exactly how you feel. I just joined FFXI the other day. I don't even know how to start the game. All I know how to do is post things and thst's pretty much it. Somebody please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait, do you mean you joined our forums, or do you mean that you purchased FFXI for your PC/PS2/360 and installed it on said system?

to be honest im not sure how they dont know how start the game maybe they think its a browser based game or something.
