Okay, so I finaly got off my ass to make a video of my fight with Maat. I used Sony Vegas 6.0, which is such a damn good program, and it's similar workings to all the audio programs I use. Still don't know too many features of this though, but I'll muck around with more videos.
For anyone wondering. The music is:
* Momo - Alex Lloyd
* Samsara - The Tea Party
* Snow - Alex Lloyd
Anyways, my strategy was written out before I went into the fight. I'll give you the details.
Items taken in:
* 12x Hi-potions
* 2x Ether
* 12x Sleeping potions
* 1x Vile Elixir +1
* Icarus wing
* Yagudo drink
* Carbonara
Equiptment taken in:
* Espadon +1 (DMG:44 Delay:257 VIT+3 MND+3 Attack+7)
* Rosenbogen (DMG:38 Delay:360 HP+10 VIT+3)
* General's Shield (DEF:15 CHR+3 Enmity+2 Enhances "Beast Killer" effect)
* Paladin Artifact Armour
* Opo-opo Necklace (DEX+1 Lightning+3 While asleep: Raises TP)
* Spike Necklace (STR+3 DEX+3 MND-6)
* Steppe Sash (DEF:5 HP+60 VIT+4 MND-4)
* Amemet Mantle (DEF:7 STR+1 Attack+10 Ranged Attack+10)
* 2x Pigeon Earrings (HP+10 Water+5)
* Jelly Ring (Physical damage taken -5%, Magic damage taken +5%)
* Sun Ring (STR+3 Fire+7)
Strategy used:
* Equip Opo-opo necklace.
* Once in, buff up. (Protect, Shell, Carbonara)
* Use Yagudo drink.
* Use Sleeping potions to gain 100% TP.
* Use Hi-potion to heal any extra HP.
* Equip Spike Necklace.
* Go in to fight, he'll always use Flash at the start.
* Once un-blinded, use Swift Blade.
* Remember to keep your HP above 800 incase of Asuran fists.
* Use Hi-potions and/or Cure III / IV. Also use Ethers if you have anymore.
* At around 40% he'll use Invincible, just battle it out until it wears off.
* When you're low on MP and/or HP. Use invincible and Vile Elixir+1.
* Keep spaming Swift Blade at 100% TP.
* When he's around 15% HP, use Icarus Wing and pummel him with Swift Blade.
* Congratulations, you've beaten Maat!
(Note: Take an instant warp, just incase. I think you only get one if you beat him, and you get thrown out to Fei'yin)
And here's the video: Click Here.
(I used Sony Vegas 6.0. I love it, it's sort of similar to Pro tools (I'm sutdying audio engineering), but in a video environment. It has a bit of audio editing tools too. Love it. ^^
