    I personally think it will be amazing on the 360. Graphic look really good. I missed the 360 preorders though... So, considering there will be no more preorders given out anywhere (everyone is run out, and MS has said no more)... It will be a good while considering christmas season is coming...

      i have my PS2 running on SVideo, and believe it or not, even that is enough to make the muddy textures seen in numerous games come out sharper.

      MGS's look awsome, and FFXI is bright and cheery.

      No XBL in my college dorm tho, so I dont give 3 shytes about Xbox360 anymore. Also, I have a Shadow of Collosus(sp?) demo. Looks very fresh. S-Video doesnt do it glory.

        it looks alot better i wounder if it would come out for the ps3 considering the ps3 will be a more powerful machine

            I doubt that. (Not doubting that the PS3 is more powerful, of course.)

            The 360 version of FFXI obviously doesn't even use a fraction of the 360's power. It's simply a slightly optimized port of the PS2 version, in higher resolution and utilizing a few technical bells and whistles that the former console isn't capable of.

            When (not if) FFXI comes to the Playstation 3, I wouldn't be suprised if it looked and played exactly like the 360 version.

              I'm sure they will play pretty much the exact same way. I can't wait to play it at my friends house on launch date! =D So exciting...

                One of the primary reasons why a lot of games look "so good" on TV these days, especially ps2 and older consoles, is due to developers putting an environmental bloom effect on EVERYTHING, because it's cheaper in terms of system resources then any true anti-aliasing effects.

                I just wish they'd take and make FFXI a bit more vibrant in terms of color saturation like that video... it does look a bit washed out everywhere... I'm also hoping for the upgrade for the PC, I'd happily go back down to 1024x1024 from 2048x2048 to see farther.

                  That crap coulda been prerendered or whatever.. Running on a powerful machine that most of us couldnt afford.. >_> You never know though.
