Promyvion Holla / Music Video

Hey guys. Just did a Promyvion - Holla run and tried my hand at making a video. The music is Start Something by the Lost Prophets. First video I've made, so be nice ;P Tell me what you think though, seriously.

Very nice! \(^.^)/ I know that I was really excited when I fianly beat Promyvion-Holla (my boyfriend was even waiting in Lufaise in the chance that I would win =3 ) Nice music too. =P

What's with the bird fight at the end? It is totally irrelevant to anything.

That is a monster that apears in Lufaise Meadows which is the area that you unlock after beating all of the Promyvions. Of course you probably already knew that since your past them =P Anyways I think the bird fight was cool =o

I make videos myself, I think I posted a few, IMO... The transitions were not too good... But I usually dont cut a lot out of my videos, I like to play the whole thing... I'll make a new topic with my Maat Video, I think its my best vid... not along the lines of editing, but overall.

Yeah the bird fight was kind of just showing off Misareaux Coast / Lufaise Meadows and celebrating that I got my friend access . I get what you mean about the transitions. It's like the second thing I've ever edited, and I know some of the cuts are rough I enjoy straight gameplay videos as much as the next guy, but sometimes I like some more action.

It was a pretty good vid as far as visual effects go. But I have to agree that the bird fight at the end was a bit out of place.

Honestly, though, kiting that thing really isn't the best idea, in large part because, as your video demonstrated, all that moving around will interrupt your Summoner's Blood Pacts.

It's best just to use poison potions and straight up fight it like you would an EXP mob. Make sure your mages bring lots of hi-ethers as well.

Yeah, Unnamed, we kited till we got to about the last 10 percent where we switch to straight up tanking. The problem is having enough poison potions to keep the WAR/NINs (traditional tanks for the missions) awake. As well as the damage dealers hopefully. With the setup I usually do Promy - Holla with (.. I do it a lot >.>) kiting really tends to be the best way to do it, up to a certain point. We don't usually take SMNs with us anyway, but in this case we couldn't get a RDM for gravity and one of the Rangers I take couldn't go. Tail Whip is a weaker form of gravity and the Astral Flow can make up for a ranger's lost damage.

all this time i've heard rdm is {Too Weak} for promyvion, so us rdm mains have to rely on our sub...

which is blm, which is also considered {Too Weak} despite the fact I have done Holla and Dem as blm
