Ive never heard of something called a Gigantoad..............

Im assuming your talking about some sort of NM Doomed type monster.. but ive personally never heard or seen one named that.

No hes is talking about an NM giant toad mob that was on the beta server Cactuar that I know of. It was an event to test how well the server can handle 200+ pc's in one area at a time. He had about 1 million hps and was tough to beat.

There used to be a video of the Gigantoad fight on the forum but i can't find it now.. maybe some1 saved it onto their harddrive.

you wouldn't see anything on a video anyway, 200+ people is insane lag, and the model for the toad wouldn't even load unless you were like 3 centimeters away from it ><

Your in luck, I captured video of it from beta, the video is from Bastok vs Gigantoad. As soon as I get time I will work down the video into clips and post it. Right now its 4 gigs lol

The toad model is still used in the game but I forgot what its called and its alot smaller. I think its an NM in the game now. Anyways Im going to be working on splitting up the video today and hopefully get something up on here tonight. I was wrong its 22 gigs right now lol. The video is from early on before the total insane lag where the toad would disappear. One of the clips is from the very first group to start attacking it. I died in 2 hits lol. Then I have some from later on when more ppl started to actually work together to take it down. I remember it was about 11 am cst I believe whenever it started. I went to work at the LAN shop and about 13 hours later some of the kids at the LAN shopped logged in and they were finishing it off. So roughly I think it took about 14 hours of straight slashing and nuking to take it down. I honestly thought there was going to be some kind of special prize for bastok since we were the first to take it down, but nothing. Oh well I still thought it was fun, except for the server crashing like later in the night and the crazy lag.
