First off I have to say this was a fantastic video, and I hope you make more. Secondly, last night when I first viewed it I didn't care for the music too much... BUT this morning when I was watching it again I listened more into the music and what was going on in the background, and the music sounded like it was very emotional and it played well with what was going on in the video. It felt a lot like the video is reliving the good times you and your friends have had and is very nostalgic. I think anytime you can invoke a sense of emotion in people that watch your video it's a very good sign, and you definitely invoked good emotions from me. Keep up the great work!

edit: by the way you might have turned me into a pillows fan... I can't understand the lyrics but the music is very touching with your movie.

edit: sorry one more edit. I thought the way you introduced you and your friends in the video was really really cool and a really neat concept.

edit: lol one more edit I'm watching it more closely and the part where the dragoon jumps and then Sariah is looking around like where did he go? and then the dragoon lands and they take off running again was really cute.

You hit the nail on the head there. That is exactly what I was aiming for in this movie. You are a very perceptive person. When I first made this topic I didn't want to spill the beans on everything that was going on. Instead I posted little and just left it to the viewer to figure out what was going on even though I knew most would not.

Which is strange for me because normally I wouldn't use a song if it has nothing to do with the subject material. I just hope it wasn't actually a love song :dead:

I missed some friends I wanted to introduce. Either I didn't have any footage or no pictures.

The dragoon, being me, was actually a race vs. Sariah. It was the beginnings of an old video where we raced around the world and this particular scene was supposed to look like I jumped off the waterfall then landed down below. In fact most of the footage started off as a music video of its own, but turned into a collaboration of everything in the end. One life.

There are some easter eggs in there, I guess that is what you could call them. All the "mysterious text" has a specfic word that matches with the story and the font has a strong connection with my characters name (1000 gil to the person who can tell me that connection ) . For example, the first thing you see as the movie begins, is what you might of noticed looks like a date. That actually says 11-15-03. The day I began Final Fantasy XI.

I'm glad I was able to feel what you were trying to express during the video. I was a music performance major (violinist) in college so it's always interesting to me how people use music to convey emotions. I hope you continue to make videos. The look may be abstract to some, but I believe you sat down beforehand and actually kind of drew it out in your head what you wanted the basic layout to be, and it shows. Goodluck with your future endeavors. ^^

Wow! The greatest movie I've ever seen...

I've seen some Japanese fun Flash stuffs but I've never seen something sweet like this...

While I was watching this, I couldn't help recalling 6 months memory of my own...

My 2 favorite FFXI Players are in that Music Video, Vivid & Gantoris! I will never forget you guys & the kindness you showed a new player in the JAP Version. That was a terrific video! I practically fell out of my chair watching it & I'm a huge fan of Japanese Music. Major props!!!
