Recent CQ results. Bastok pwned San d'Oria, but DAMN...they got the newbie area Ronfaure too! {|Retribution|} is needed here. Happened on Ramuh while gathering for a ZM6 run.

I bet Sandy is attacking Gustaberg now, have to verify that. *grin*

This happened on some servers because people arranjed it so, the only means to get a outpost warp to a location is to make it so your nation owns the locale first, if all nations worked together this would be possible, so if major linkshells want to do it... this wont be such big news next time.

It has happened several times on Midgardsormr. I have both Ronfaure and Gustaberg outpost warps as a Windurstian as a result. The Ronfaure warp is quite handy. The Gustaberg outpost is worthless, as I can just Teleport-Altep and Escape out of Korroloka to get to Bastok (which is actually faster than running from North Gustaberg...).

Only useless for those who have Teleport-Altep and Escape, anyway. For my part, I'm a Thief main, and my BLM and WHM are still not yet at Dunes levels. On Midgardsormr, I helped Windy take Gustaberg, and the next week helped Bastok take Sarutabaruta. (Windy and Bastok are currently fighting over San d'Oria, but not making much headway.) I've also been encouraging as many people as I can to get the supply run while they can. (A fair number of people don't seem to even know about Outpost teleportation.)

While Windy controlled Gustaberg, I ran into a WHM willing to escort my level 4 BLM Windy mule to Gustaberg. He also agreed to escort a level 1 WHM to San d'Oria, though it wasn't quite clear why he wanted to be there other than it was 'home' (though he didn't know the area at all once we got there). Said WHM escort didn't know about Outpost teleporting, I explained it and talked him and the level 1 into grabbing supplies before we left, telling the level 1, "You'll be glad you did 3 months or so from now." (Decided to go as a group, first to Gustaberg and then to Sandy). It was strange and kinda fun. And showed well how skill matters more than level, as there was no way to make Sneak/Invis stick on either of us, and I made it the whole trip without dying (though there was a close call in Ronfaure after our escort had to leave) while the newbie lv 1 had to be Raised several times along the way.

I'm also willing to help escort Bastok players to Sarutabaruta this week if I have time (darn classes). However, I don't have Raise so I can only do so much. (Basically, fight off Goblins.)

Its on Ramuh, in the last 3 weeks everyone has had Ronfaure.

Don't go saying San d'Oria is a disgrace. Over in Caitsith, We had control over Sarutabaruta. A week later, we also took over Gustaberg!

I did my outpost supply quests on both when I had the chance.

on Valefor, only once has Ronfare been taken and we immediately took Sabururuata (where's the auto-complete when you need it?) in retaliation. it's been quiet on that front since. yes, now we check our Ronfare standings now instead of being complacent. Windy only awoke a sleeping giant. ~.^

But yes all those activities are planned. You gather as many people as you can and trade cheap armor and weapons to the teleport guy and gain control.
