I have no self control either, though, I cant say I bought something worth 630k @.@, did get a rather pointless Faerie Shield though, but I justified with I could use it for me BLM and WHM (Till I got my staffs, heh)

As for the exp, I love parties like that =D frist tried on in Garlaige, and when it did work, the lvling was amazing fun, worked well too. Since your already 75, was this just exping for Merit Points, or were you trying to max out the lvl? (I have no idea if you even can since….im not 75 >.<)

To Samar: Yeah it was pretty fun. We are all friends so we chatted a bit and I joked around. Nobody likes my jokes. T_T We had a good time though. As for what I was doing, I was doing it for XP. I would very much like to do merit points (as I've already gotten a few merit point upgrades), but I put a stop to it because the buffer on my BLM got really low (a few more deaths and I would delevel to 74). My RDM already had a good buffer (due to those xp Chain 8 & 11 speed parties), but I was just too lazy to change it back. I want to naturally cap out my level 75 jobs before gaining merit points because as a high level (fighting HNMs, doing Dynamis, Missions, etc. it is natural for you to die). My XP for my RDM is 41,000/44,000 (I died a few times *cry*) and my BLM is 40,500/44,000 (thanks to the Cannon Party yesterday). It is safe to say I have a good buffer now, don't you think?

For those of you that don't know, when you hit the max XP for your level as 75, you will automatically gain Limit Points instead. Limit Points are the same as Experience Points, but when you accumulate 10,000 Limit Points, you get 1 Merit Point. Merit Points can be redeemed for certain boosts to your stats.

This is the Windurst part of Chapter M3-3. I seriously hate missions where you have to run across a gajillion (exaggeration) places across Vana'diel. Anyway... this is part of the Chapter deals with the three Tarus. I love these guys. Everytime I see their dialogue and dancing, I crack up laughing. Lots of pictures, so please excuse me slow computer peoples!

We're getting a bit closer to the end of Promathia - Chapter 3!

          • Wow. That's one word that best describes this thread, i've been reading the WHOLE thing over a span of a week, and I've never once posted anything on these boards (I made an account so I could view pictures)and this thread is one I find myself coming back to time after time. I do have a request though, could you poissbly post all your stats? like your magic skills, job levels, weapon skill levels etc. Probably a strange request I know, but things like this interest me. Thank you so much for the wonderful thread and hope to see it grow EVEN more!

Hrm... it looks like you missed a large chunk of the dialogue though when the Chebukki Brothers and the Ministers are talking. Very funny though. :D

Shantotto: Ohoho! You men are all the same. Not one of you ever wants to take the blame!

To Xuanson: Wow, you read it all over a week? That's pretty impressive. A lot of readers (especially new ones) just start reading at the latest pages. As I said before, I tried reading from the beginning but it was just too much content. Thank you for the compliment though, I'm glad you like it. 8) As for my stats? Hmm, I suppose I could (if I remember). It is kind of embarassing to show my stats I guess. It is nothing important, but I'll try to get that done for you.

To CRtwenty: Ah shit. I just noticed that too. Hmm... Not sure if I have that picture, I'll have to take a look at the originals but it wasn't much dialogue. In that chunk, they basically said that they were from Tavnazia, which is about 3 lines of dialogue and then Yoran-Oran remembers going there (which is the dialogue you see after Shantoto makes fun of him).

                  • I am not sure if you have allready established this, but i was watching the intro movie the other day and noticed that the young boy who escapes from Tavanzia was called Aldo.

If i am not mistaken that is the name of the Teshido leader in jueno.

This may be a trivial fact but i just thought i would post it for all those story line buffs to get their imput.

and because i like to post on faluzures' thread, he is my personal god. well kinda.....

To Dryn: You give me too much credit sir! I'm the same as everyone else! As for the Aldo scene, someone did mention that about Aldo a few pages back (not sure which ). I only watched the movie once a *long* time ago.

I took a bunch of screenshots over the weekend of different stuff for you guys. Gimme a few days to prep them.

I leave you with these 3 images for now. I look so mean (just my Elvaan face & hairstyle). I chose it cuz it looked like those cool/wild/mean anime guy-types.

To jotroge: Thanks! I did it on Saturday morning (around 2 AM?) I did the earlier missions with another group of friends a few weeks back, but it was just hard to schedule 9-2 with them. One either wanted to level or wasn't on. Another person had to share the computer with his sibling, etc. So I was sitting around trying to get my stupid "Holloween" items when 2 Japanese friends of mine (non-LS) messaged me about someone shouting to do W9-2 in Jeuno. It ended up being my JP HNMLS Linkshell-mate! He didn't know I was online so I sent him a /linkshell message and told him how far I was. He only had 3 people at the time and I still had to get 2 required Key Items. So I told him I would go ahead and go get the Uggalepih Key while he continued to recruit more people. I got the key, he met me in Yhoator and we finished 9-2 together. I just updated my sig this morning. I'm pretty happy, so I've been wearing my Aketon everywhere with my shades. They look so cool together.

I made an easy 10K too to spend on more sweets for this Holloween event. Some low level offered me 10K for my Federation Staff. I should've increased the price (cuz they go for about 100K in Bazaars), but I thought it was a good tradeoff. So I got 10K (which I immediately on Saruta Oranges) and he got an unused Federation Staff. :p

I'll still repeat it for my friends though. I'm sure they haven't done it yet. All they have to do is ask. I'll try to get them to do it tonight if I can.

                          • Grats on rank 10. Nice confusing storyline, isn't it? As for the missing fragment of cutscene, you can always go replay it to get screenshots. That looks like Windurst Waters, so just go bug the local cutscene bard.

As for the opening movie, yes, the young boy is named Aldo, and his sister is named Emmeline. What really really caught my interest upon getting to the Tavnazian Safehold was that one of the NPCs there mentioned a girl named Emmeline. If anything comes of that girl, it's either gonna prove or disprove all the theories about Mathilde in Selbina.

(Short version of her: her parents adopted her after finding her amnesiac and nearly dead from a beastmen attack. She has a son named Aldo, and she talks about how she hopes her "other precious Aldo" is all right too. Notwithstanding other potential future indications to the contrary, this strongly leads one to believe she's the girl from the opening movie.)

                            • Wah, those shots are cool... I want my Windurstian flag and Federation Aketon! /cry I'd also like the shades, but I know I probably won't get those... since my craft is Woodworking (wish they got some glasses ). Currently it's only 28.8, so I've still got a ways to go until I can get any kinda guild equipment anyway. Right now I'm working on getting one of the key items that was added recently.

/sigh But what I really wish I could get done is Promyvion. I did Dem last night, and two of the PTs I went with beat it easily, but my group got owned. It was hastily thrown together from people outside our original alliance when a few members couldn't make it at the last minute for whatever reasons. The leader of our alliance (who was a great leader, btw) assures me that he will get another group together to get it done for those of us who lost, so I guess it's alright. And I didn't even get a chance to use any of the items I bought, so luckily I didn't waste any money.

I don't know why (well, I do know why: it's an organizational nuisance), but many many NA players do not feel like bothering with the Promathia missions. And when you do, if it's a pickup alliance (for promyvion or anything else), you're in serious danger of what I call Eco-Warrior Syndrome, namely:

The One Who Gets Everyone Else Killed.

In Eco-Warrior, this usually takes the form of checking the ??? at the end before everyone's prepared, even after the approximately ten dozen warnings the entire time beforehand, not to do just that. It's more forgivable if there was only one or two warnings, but even so. Let's just say I was traumatized enough by the three Eco-Warriors I did (once only, for each location) that I steadfastly refuse to ever do one again unless I personally know and trust every person in the group.

                                Anyway.

Best of luck with Promv-Dem. I don't recall ... is that the only one you have left? If so, I hope you get to see Lufaise and Misareaux for yourself soon, the areas are both (as you've seen from Fal's pictures) simply beautiful. Although a bit orc-ridden.

Just remember: when Offspring start appearing, open a can of whoop-ass on the boss (Eagle Eye Shot, Mighty Strikes, Chainspell, etc.) before the Offspring get a chance to do much damage. They're either immune to sleep or resist it a lot so you can't just have them nap out of the way. Other than that I don't remember the fight as being very painful. Mea's boss did more all-out damage. Holla's boss was actually quite painless so long as you avoided buffing.
