once again, thank you very much for posting those SS Fal. Am I correct in assuming these later CoP missions require a higher level than 30 (you're in your lvl 75 rdm gear)?

Fafnir is camped all the time, we haven't gotten him in a month. Lord of Onzozo, same. Joyeuse could be possible but it's only one weapon... Probably not worth wearing part of the set.

For that matter, i've heard people say that double/triple attack from warriors/thieves does not stack with joyeuse/ridill, know anything about this? :confused:

I just remembered why I dislike the San d'Orian Church... Would it kill them to just talk about things the way they really are? Of course I'm from Bastok, so I really don't care about any of this God or Goddess stuff... bunch of religious hooey if you ask me...

Great pictures though Fal, hopefully Prishe will reappear soon, she's awsome! And the script is going at a steady pace. I'll post a snippet of it before too long.

I've never seen anyone using joyeuse with war main or war sub get a "triple attack" from double attack and the joyeuse double, but I'm not really sure.

While I appreciate that there are those of us who don't want to be spoiled... So taking a break from mission posts is good.. but there are alot of us who enjoy them and truly get a stronger enjoyment of the overall game.

Its funny I mainly only play the game because of the missions.. and the alluure of being a rdm and SMN..

Now it's time to dig into the past and find RoTZ... heh, times like these that make me wish there was a better search function on these boards. :sweat: But it'll be worth it in the end. To neighbortaru: You are correct in assuming that the later CoP Missions require you to be higher level, but not as high as you think. The screenshots I just posted for that mission is not level restricted. A party (or alliance) doing this together (think Linkshell or friends) can easily overcome it. You have to fight some NMs along the way and I solo best as RDM, so that's why you see me as a Red Mage.

To Tchernobyl: I'm not sure about this. Thieves have Triple Attack right? Maybe it's Double, not sure. I do know that when watching my LS mate attack with his Ridill & Dagger (he's THF/NIN), its very funny to watch. He almost attacks constantly. There's usually a 2 second delay between his successive attacks though. Its funny to see a dagger *slice* then a Ridill *slice* *slice* *slice* --Pause-- dagger *slice* Ridill *slice* *slice*, etc.

Wow, done already? Did I post all of RoTZ? I forget... it has been so long... No wonder a certain group of FFXI friends call me grandpa. They make fun of me because I go to bed early (I can't help it! I work 7-5 everyday!)

To Lloyd: Thanks! No no, don't post a poll thread on that. You give me too much credit. This thread is updated and commented on frequently enough where it doesn't have to be stickied. Thanks for the compliment though!

I finally bought it... the Igqira Weskit. It was a mindless purchase, I think my fingers did the work for me because after I realized I purchased it, I screamed out loud and said "Nooooooooo". I bought the Igqira for 630K on my server. There was too many in stock so the price dropped dramatically. Even the Dragon Talon is now going for 590K to 600K. My goal was to buy the Weskit for 600K or buy a Talon and have my LS mate craft one for me (in hopes of HQ). I have no self-control... I hate myself.

In any case... I was invited by some friends of mine for a BLM Cannon Party. 5 Black Mages, 1 Bard. We went up to Shrine of Ru'Avitau and fought some golems there. There was another party there (I'm assuming somewhere around level 73). We pushed them out though because we were killing the golems way too fast. At one point, we stayed in the spawn room, competing against pulls. They left and we had the golems all to ourselves. However, we still killed them way too fast. We got XP chain 6 & 7 constantly (when we timed the spawns right). I got about 23K that night in 4 hours (including tons of downtime as well as sitting there competing against that other party for a while). The rate would've been better had that party not been there for at least the 1st hour or so.

From what I can tell the Weskit does provide me with a decent increase in damage over the standard Errant Houpplande. In addition, you notice the effects of Conserve MP a lot more. The problem with this analyzation comes from the fact that golems have really high resistance. Often at times, I found myself doing half damage to these golems (as did the rest of the party, those that had low Elemental Magic skill found the damage even less). Without resistance, it is natural I did the lowest damage of the bunch because I'm Elvaan (the others were 2 Hume, 2 Taru). The damage difference between me and the other mages however was approximately 50 damage to 100 (as I always said). So not that big of a deal, especially versus these level 80 mobs... so those of you that still say Elvaans suck as BLMs can shut up. I would like to add that I was resisted less another than another mage (because I had higher Elemental Magic Skill). Anyway, here are the pictures...

go to "Chat filters" and change "party" or whatever you want to be noticed to "hold". Now it will stay longer on the screen giving the effect you see there.

I have no self control either, though, I cant say I bought something worth 630k @.@, did get a rather pointless Faerie Shield though, but I justified with I could use it for me BLM and WHM (Till I got my staffs, heh)

As for the exp, I love parties like that =D frist tried on in Garlaige, and when it did work, the lvling was amazing fun, worked well too. Since your already 75, was this just exping for Merit Points, or were you trying to max out the lvl? (I have no idea if you even can since….im not 75 >.<)
