General Reply: This weekend was... hmm. Relatively uneventful in terms of FFXI. I saw 3 shouts in regards to the next Promathia Mission I had to do, but I didn't get to go. Why? I was asleep T_T. When I woke up in the morning, I scrolled up my chat log and saw shouts on both Saturday AM and Sunday AM. Oh well... Maybe next weekend huh? Oh wait... I can't play next weekend either. Doh!

To Roulette: I'm way past Diabolos (well not way past, but I have fought him). You'll get to see the pictures, but only in order

To Taps: Taps, who are you talking to?

Help Request: I've found it easier to ask you guys for help when it comes down to certain requests for character models. My library is quite extensive, but not near as big as some of yours. Anyway, this request comes from a reader AstralFate573. AstralFate573 has requested the following:
1.) Female Hume 2a (blonde with ponytail)- In all Opaline Gear, including Lilac Corsage. Just various poses
2.) Male Hume 3a (blonde with spikey hair)- In Ranger AF, possibly shooting bow or something, hehe.

Again, I'm not sure who Male Hume 3A is, but I do know the Female Hume 2A. Sadly to say, I don't have any pictures of that model in the Opaline Gear. Also, I *think* this person wants a picture of each model in-game. However, I do believe the model viewer will do? Not quite sure... AstralFate573, please respond.

To LionhartPLD: Hey hey Lionhart! Nice to see you again. The missions aren't required from what I can tell. It is just an easy way to get people involved with all the new zones, as I do believe the mission storyline touches a bit of each land. Who knows though, maybe they'll unlock some super beasty HNM or treasure (much like Zilart and the involvement with the Gods). I personally am doing this for just the storyline. The FF stories have always been intriguing to me. It seems I am inspiring others to go do them as well.

To Vilurum: Whassamatta Vil? Promathia boggling your brain? I told you the story gets interesting (and you thought you had everything nailed down *tee hee*). Maybe you can go with your new LS Ascension, since they seem pretty involved with it. Good luck with that LS & congrats on an HNM LS membership.

Word travels fast, eh? Thanks on the congratulations.

I thought about it for a while, and I realized ... HNM fighting was something I wanted to do, and although NA HNM LS's don't really operate quite the way I wish they would ... that certainly isn't gonna change if I just sit on the sidelines and make comments, now is it?

And I am looking forward to doing Promyvion runs (/want memospheres), later CoP missions, HNM hunts in general, and hopefully a (more competent) Divine Might. (Though admittedly I still don't really know what earring I should pick if I ever do beat it.)

So yeah, things are looking good. Perfect they are not, but all in all I like most of them quite well. (I'll get back to you in a few weeks/months once the rose-colored glasses have lost their tint.)

And for my comment earlier, trust me - I'm absolutely *thrilled* at the prospect of confusing plot twists. I loved Xenogears and the way I only understood what was going on the third time I played through the game.

Now I just need to do it myself! But I'm gonna try to knock out San d'Oria rank 10 first (plot~), get my last flag and signet staff, and switch back to my beloved Windurst.

To all that read this thread, I posted it a bit earlier but maybe you didn't read it. Someone asked for very specific models in particular gear. As you all know, the more specific a request is, the longer it takes me to get it. Therefore, I need your help. AstralFate573 requested the following two characters:

I know a bunch of you mess with the model viewer, so this should be easy? However, if you have in-game shots, those would be better. I guess you can post them here or just send 'em over to AstralFate573. Thanks in advance.

Promathia M3-1 & 3-2
A lot of Chapter Three is really just dialogue and *tons* of running around (reminds me of Windurst Missions, *arg*). Part 3-1 and 3-2 were so close together, I decided to put this as one set. This is a huge chunk of dialogue, so those of you interested in the story will probably kiss your monitor. :spin: Part 3-3 on the other hand, is just a big drawn out marathon session between each nation (Windurst and Sandy being the worst). Anyway... there's 55 pictures in this set (more than usual) but I'd like to get these out of the way so I can post some really fun stuff. Thanks to gungus for pushing for a new page.

Yes I'm wondering the same. Another sky-esque high level zone would be nice. And I'm still wondering how to get to this place and what it's called.

To LionhartPLD: It has to be either Al'Taieu, Grand Palace of Hu'xzoi, or The Garden of Ru'hmet. Just my guesses. Since it seems to be outdoors, I'd put my money on Al'Taieu or Ru'hmet.

Hmm, I'm guessing you get different scenes depending on what your home nation is. The absence of the Archduke, and Aldo's reaction to Fal make it seem like this takes place immediatly after the end of the Zilart Missions. As I'm pretty sure Aldo wouldn't be that friendly to somebody he didn't know. But you can do these Missions w/o completeing RoTZ, which would make it seem like they're not connected.

Do you know how the scenes change if you're from another Country? And do they change if you haven't beaten RoTZ yet?

This also brings another question, Esha'ntarl is obviously a Zilart, and seems aware of the fates of Kam'lanuat and Eald'narche, yet she doesn't know that Fal was the one responsible for killing both of them? Weird.
