Dynamis Jeuno I forgot I had this ready to upload... I've just been slammed so hard at work lately that I forgot to post them (one of the guys is on vacation and I have to pick up his work in addition to my own). Anyway... this is Dynamis Jeuno, a brand new Dynamis for the majority of those who went. All in all, it went decently well despite the fact that again... a handful of people had to sacrifice themselves for the rest of the LS in order for us to get the key item. We got the key item and we tried to perform a rescue mission but that failed horribly.
I'm about to rant... so if you don't want to read this, then just skip to the pictures... I'm somewhat disappointed in our Dynamis LS. As most NAs across all servers, it's apparent that the majority of people are selfish and inconsiderate of others. It's a trend among the NA players because they haven't had this game for 2+ years. So they have yet to reach the "status" the JPs have achieved in equipment & assets. This kind of attitude is what really splits us and hurts us. At the very beginning of Dynamis runs on our server, our goal was to do them over and over until everyone who participated got the key item. This was how it was supposed to go. So it was good for about 3 weeks but then our trajectory changed. So this was our schedule for Dynamis up to this point:
1) San'Doria (We failed, our 1st Dynamis ever)
2) San'Doria (Everyone got the key item!)
3) Bastok (Most everyone got key item!)
4) Bastok (Redoing for those who sacrificed themselves. Reduction in # of particpants, had to recruit new people. We failed.)
5) Bastok (To try one more time for those who never go it, cancelled due to low attendance.)
6) Jeuno (Over attendance + newer recruits, we had to boot a few people).
Overall it seems that those who didn't attend across the past 6 weeks were one of the following:
1) Those who didn't have AF in one of those locations.
2) Those who already had the key item but felt they shouldn't have to go again to help others.
3) Those who already got the AF in that Dynamis location.
What the hell kind of attitude is that? It sickens me to no end that people would be that selfish. I have been to *every* Dynamis run. It's one thing to have things to do in real life, but not going just because your AF isn't there or not going because you already have a key item is just crap. It wouldn't surprise me if there was low attendance again next week if we decided to go to San'Doria or Bastok again. Nobody did Jeuno so that's why we had an over-attendance. It's most likely we will do Jeuno again next week, but if we keep repeating it, it wouldn't surprise me if people quit showing up. I had an argument with one player the other day about "she" not going. Her reasoning was this "she would go to Jeuno, but not to Bastok again because she didn't have the key item to Jeuno." I told her that was wrong... We are doing these as a group, not as individuals...
Furthermore, I think I've made enemies from the Dynamis Jeuno run. There is a particular player, who has f***ed up almost every single time. This player is not very good at their job and it is generally known by all. In addition, this player has caused death to our LS at least twice and almost caused it just as much if not more. In the last run, we tried to do a rescue mission to raise those that died and had a 2 thieves use Perfect Dodge to train them. They didn't train them all and we all died. This person aggro'd tons of goblins and took them back to camp because she couldn't find the dead bodies. She claimed that she didn't aggro any of them (but she ran in the middle of all them). I bitched this person out but she felt she didn't do anything wrong. This is the 2nd time she has done this... She also, for some reason likes to follow the designated pullers. I had to tell her to come back and she said "they needed help pulling". WTF!?!?
What pisses me off is that the Dynamis leaders won't do anything about it, yet they know about it. I, as well as many others, had a meeting with one of the shell's leaders to express our concern. However, the meeting ended on an unresolved note because the leader felt he didn't have to do anything... Check out the last picture in the Dynamis Jeuno set. This is what she ran into and claimed she didn't get "aggro". After she ran into the middle of that, she ran back to camp. She killed about 5-6 people because of her actions on this run and annihilated us on a past Dynamis run. The reason I think I made some enemies is because there are those who are friends with that person. In addition, I blew up because I was tired of her messing up. I could've handled it differently, but my anger took over my ability to present the problem reasonably. That's the only thing I regret but I still stand on my opinion that this person shouldn't be allowed to join anymore.
a situation kinda like this happened at the last Jeuno raid I went on. It was a mostly JP shell that did it. Failed because of bad pulls. =/ And the rules were idiotic too. The rule was "free lot" on anything even af2. So people that couldnt even use things were getting them. A bard got some THF AF2 and some of us got some drk af2. at least 1 Sam got his af2 so that was good. Other than that it was a crappy run =/ but hey right after that we learned Adamantking was up and we went and got one of these:

It just makes me sick of how some people are. I know games are supposed to be fun and a means of escape from the real world. MMORPGs however are different, if everyone escapes from the real world to a game world, you're still having to deal with the same idiots no matter where you go...
Anyway.. congrats on Adamant King. I helped defeat the Orc Warlord guy a few weeks ago. I noticed that you get a title for beating these guys, however I can't seem to find where to regain that title... Do you know which bard you talk to? The big HNMs & Kirin are obtained in Mhaura, but what about the others?
I hate hearing about your dynamis troubles Fal. We've just recently starting doing them ourselves, so I hope that doesn't happen to us. I'm pretty sure that our LS leader keeps an eye on who doesn't show up for which events, so if people continually skip events where they don't have anything to gain, they most likely won't be going on the trips where they do.
Also...wow, that is one crazy train lol. We've had a few monster trains in dynamis, but I think we've only had 1 or 2 rivaling that one.
In this world, every storm has it's end, every night brings a new day what's important is to trust those you love and never give up.

hmm not sure. that was our first time hunting one of the Beastman HNM. But yeah i'm an Adamantking Usurper XD. The NM itself took forever to beat. The only real damage we were doing was our BLM. Now this thing is godly amounts of HP , Evasion, and Defense. I was barely doing any damage. The BLM was nuking for like 1300 dmg on burst thundaga3, Zone out, in, rinse, repeat. Not only does he have godly hp but he has Cure V and Benediction to boot. All in all it was just a really long fight but it was worth it.
To Tabandarkmoon: That's the thing though. I thought the leaders were keeping tabs, because they were keeping tabs of which AF each person wanted... So when Dynamis Jeuno came around, there were just too many people there. So we told the extras to sit out unless we need to fill some spots from no-shows. So it ends up a few people who reserved a spot didn't show. It's fair that those who attend more often will have priority over one who never joined. I asked the leaders, have you been keeping tabs of who shows and who doesn't? The reply "no.." *sigh*
To Vairu: Thanks man We have one SAM with almost full AF2.
To Grodo: Yes, you lose XP in Dynamis. The sad part is some people refuse to take any other raise than Raise 3. Personally, I'll take whatever raise I can get because Dynamis is timed. Every minute you wait for a raise is a minute wasted. Somehow these people dont' comprehend that and would rather wait 5-10 minutes just to get a raise 3. The thing is, you DIE in dynamis. There is no way to avoid death unless you hide from the battles.
To LionhartPLD: I want my orc HNM title I forgot what it was, but I know you can get it! Yea, the orc HNM was a bitch too. We had no BLM (I was Redmage at the time. It was 3 ninjas and one of them got hit with that orc TP move. The one where he jumps and smashes you for over 1200 damage. He died.
I've heard that you can get all your HNM titles back by talking to a BRD in Mhaura. I don't remember where the BRD is exactly, and I have no way to test my theory yet, since I haven't gotten any HNM titles...

Is that Sezmar? I know I've seen him around wearing partial SAM AF2 (as well as almost full DRK AF2 )....
Anyway, that sucks about the Dynamis problems, Fal. /comfort I've also noticed that sometimes Vana'diel is too much of a reflection of real life (i.e. just as many idiots). I'd think that the monthly fees would weed out the truly stupid ones, but apparently not. >_> Anyway, congrats on the Relic Staff. I assume you got it, what with that crazy lot you had on it. That aside, I still wanna see more Zilart shots.
As a side note: That is one ginormous train near the end there.
i seen a blm sam thf (and a smn and rng with only one more to have it all) so far with all af2 (i forgot there names just saw them when passing by the ah in jeuno)
I would like to see all pld and drk af2 on a galka that might be hard to find cause most lvl 75 galka are war or mnk
but is there a place called moon or some thing close to that I would like to see some pics of it if u can ^^ thank u
To DM337: Yeah, I've been to that bard and I paid every amount that she offered but she didn't have some of the titles I've wanted. So that leads me to think you get them elsewhere... I primarily want the Monastic Cavern NM Orc title and the title I got for completing Zilart...
To Kyrial Arthian: Patience my dear! I already posted two sets! You're in luck though, I'm going to post MR, HM, and GK today.
No, the Sam I know is Doe. He's got most of the AF2. He's NA. I don't know Semzar, is he JP? Jade is the only person I've seen with the DRK AF2 Body. I only know this because he likes to show it off next to the guard up in Ru'lude.
Yeah, the Dynamis problems just truly blow. It just dumbfounds me that some people are like that in this game. But then when I think of how many idiots I know in real life... I'm not too surprised. I've had so many people say to me, "it's just a game, why do you take it so seriously?" I just wrote a big response on answering that question, but it was too long.. I'll just end it here: If it's just a game, why are the same people who are telling me this busting their own chops for not having a Scorpion Harness or a Vermillion Cloak? If it's just a game, why stress yourself in getting gil? Why not settle for regular armor? Don't tell me it's just a game when you complain just as much because you don't have enough gil to buy these items. 'Nuff said.
P.S.: Yeah, I got the relic staff. For some reason, I always have 1 really high lot and the rest of mine are crap per day. I think it must be my chi, karma, whatever you want to call it. I was sad at first, but then when no AF dropped, I was ok with it. I highly doubt I'll ever have the money to upgrade it, but I'll try. So it stays safely hidden in my Mog Safe for now.
To Grodo: The term "Moon" is what people use in the autotranslator to reference the back of Ro'Maeve. You need a "Moongate Key" to open the door leading back there. This is an area for level 70s to level up if you do not have "Sky". "Sky" is the term referencing the region known as Tu'Lia, which floats above Qufim. To access "Sky", you must have completed Zilart Mission 12 (or 13?). I've already posted some pictures of Ro'Maeve before. It's nothing exciting, just a big cermet area with a bunch of dolls, weapons, and jars.
To Nnep: It's just the way people are man. I think greed powers nearly everything in this world. Equipment and money truly is an evil thing on FFXI. In the real world, not everyone can be a millionaire driving that <insert sports car here> with a huge house with everything in it. Some people have mediocre minimum wage jobs flipping burgers and they can never get out of that rut. In a game world though... its easy. Anyone can have all the Abjuration/God armor they want if they keep trying. So until all the people on our server have everything they want, they will continue to want more more more.
About the World Immigration, I posted that here. It seems Stanislav is having the same troubles on his server.
