To Sindinista: Thanks for the compliment! I try to fill requests when I can but I'm still behind on lots of them. Those that requested them in the past have probably got impatient with me and quit reading this thread.

The other day... I thought about this screenshot thread and how it really grew. At first it started just to show screenshots in hi-res since many of the FFXI players play at lower resolutions or on PS2. Then I progressed in levels and was fortunate enough to get in on a JP HNM Shell early on before most NAs knew what that was. This allowed me to keep you guys interested in reading. It has come down to the fact that... I've pretty much shown you everything that happens at the "endgame of FFXI". I don't think there's much more I can show you except Zilart (which I am doing as I type this). I'm also going to try to fulfill the past requests that were made to me. However, it's still difficult to do so because while I'm running around, I'm also doing other things like farming, leveling, HNM/NM fights, or helping others out. Sometimes its hard... but that's no excuse. I'll try better... So... if you have a request for something, let me know.

Note: The more specific your request, the longer it will take me to fulfill that request.

Current Requests:
1) Eyes of All wants random location pictures. I've done this off and on, but I think there are several other places you can look for scenery shots faster than I can submit. I'll continue to submit them, so I'll just remove this request. Check these threads. Also, there's a couple journals you can look at for good scenery. Link 1 Link 2
2) balz wants me to own up some beastmen. I rarely go anywhere as BLM anymore. Its just not efficient to solo as BLM. Red is my new favorite job. So this is still work in progress (unless you just want to see a redmage solo a big mob chain).
3) Ivadell wants a good pic of the Davoi Church. (I'll do this tonight. Shouldn't take me long since I go to Davoi as RDM for solo/skill up everyday anyway).

Someone requested to see a picture of me (I believe Silverblood) but someone else also. Right now my Red Mage is pretty decked out. I'm quite proud of him. The original AF pants are ugly on my outfit (solo use), so I just wear the MC Hammer pants when I walk around/XP. Oh and do you guys see anything different about my picture? Thanks! You've had them for a while right? I mean your avatar is a picture of you with the shades. It seems you've had them for a long time.

Since getting them, I sometimes I wish I went bonecrafting though. Of course, spending millions in goldsmithing doesn't make me any happier either I originally thought the goldsmithing shades would be awesome on my character (I mean it is cool), but with my dark complexion as well as my black hair on the Elvaan model, you can't see the shades that well. Maybe with the bonecrafting ones, they would stand out while on my face. Like.. half my friends who see me everyday didn't even notice. Those that did notice, I had to hint at it (ie: Hey, notice anything different about me?)

Oh well. I'm happy with them. Some of the items I needed to submit were a bitch to get though. The last item that was needed was a banded helmet. None were on AH in all the cities. I had to craft them myself but i spent about 50K on them because they required so many ingredients (some which were way overpriced). :mad: Other times, the recipes required an HQ gem and that gem wasn't on sale anywhere. The rocks that would make that gem weren't available either. Stupid goldsmithing...

All in all, they are awesome. I thinkt hey look best on humes though (such as yourself Lionhart and that Ninja in my sig).

actually my avatar is The Future Me. The Present me is my Signature pic. I'm still working on goldsmithing. No matter how many synths I do it never seems to increase. Also it's incredible expensive and i'm running low =(. But I'm working on em ^^ I'll post in-game pics once I get.

Ah I see. I thought that was you. You'll get there, don't worry. From what I hear your LS seems to be doing awesome on Leviathan.

Same here... Goldsmithing is the boon of all crafts I think. I've been crafting at least 4-5 items per day. The items & crystal cost me about 25-27K to make. Then I turn around and sell it at AH for a 1-2K gil loss. I'll see maybe 0.1 or 0.2 increase every 2 days. Occasionally I'll break the items and lose anywhere from 6K to 18K per craft. I don't want to try for something bigger (which should cause me to skill up more) because I'll likely break it and lose even more money. For a while, I totally quit goldsmithing because I ran out of money. Its just a gil leach... It will only get worse until I'm able to HQ some stuff.

yes goldsmithing is a total pain to level however it's apparently the most profitable in the end. The ony Goldsmith I know on my server with 100 GS has godly amounts of money. Possibly more than even the max.. he's crazy.. My Japanese friend who is a Paladin said it cost 70 million to get Goldsmithing to 100 however it pays for itself and very quickly at that.

Yah. 1 of our PLDs has 98 Goldsmithing. He makes bank (one of the first of our PLDs to get all Adaman when it was released). The other 2 Goldsmithers I know, are both Blackmages. They are both among the richest people on the server.

The problem I have is... I don't have 70 million I don't think I've made a profit on anything except when I desynth stuff. Even then.. I don't always successfully desynth.

Our 1st character on Fenrir said he got 100 Goldsmithing on 70mil but since all the new recipes and what not he said it is probably possible with 30mil now. ^^
