I'm long overdue for fun pictures... Finally I get to this, so those of you who have been waiting for a while finally get to see the next part of Zilart. As for the AA battles themselves, there's not a lot of story. You just walk in and battle it out. Then you go back to Norg... but I'll get to that later. So over the next few days, I'm posting one AA battle at a time (I don't have Divine Might, as there aren't enough NAs who have completed this as of yet). The first was EV, my first AA. I was invited by an NA to go help with the AAs. I haven't done them yet as I have gotten distracted by other things and its hard to find PTs for this. So I gladly accepted and went off to fight her.

Supposedly AA EV is one of the hardest. Everything about her is nasty. I believe she's a Paladin & White Mage? Not sure. Her 'Spirits Within' is very ouchies (well, all her WSs are). I died to Shining Blade on my face even with Stoneskin/Phalanx on. We had to try 3 times. The shots I took are just pics of all 3 at random times when I wasn't running for my life.

So... I'm going to post these... but I'll put a big spoiler warning so those of you that don't want to be spoiled can close your eyes and scroll past it..

Arc Angel EV >< that fight was awsome, long as all hell though. How long was your fight? Took my group of people about 17 minutes the time we won. Gravity and Bind were pretty much worthless after around 16minutes so things got pretty interesting.

2 BLMs must have made it pretty tolerable.

Get some pictures of the Earld Narche fight when you do it~ hehe, I want to see what I missed out on, was the mission I was on when I left this game.

If you have beaten AA EV then you can easily beat the rest hehe. HM seems really overrated, he was the only one we never wiped on.

Bah. I love my race (Elvaan), but damn I hate EV... What a b**ch! MM, our fight was pretty long. We ran out of time on one fight (then again, most of us were already dead). I'd say we were there over 20 mins for sure. Yah, Gravity and Bind got less and less effective so we just had to kite her for the whole time.

2 BLMs did make it easy (which was why I was invited to go). More BLMs would've been better to make her fall faster, but it was still hard. I had to kite it for a long time until the other BLM got raised.

My friend who tried it just last week said her fight was much easier than it was with us. Reason? Ranger was with her... Shadowbind isn't magic based so its more effective to keep EV in place (as well as the Barrage/Slugshot or Sidewinder combo doesn't require MP.)

The others were cake (except for HM). He did a WS as his first attack and killed our PLD instantly. We just left after that. No point fighting if there's no PLD.

I did take pics of every battle (not so many with Earld Narche though). I was too scared to reach over and press F11, but I did get a few. I'll comment on our battle when it comes time to post that set.

When i went with some friends to do AA elv this weekend.. we finished it first try on 13 minutes with no deaths, and nearly full mp on all the mages..

The elvaan didnt use invincible (does she?) and didn't use a single spirits within.. i think we fluked it :sweat:

I'm not quite sure actually. I do know she has benediction. All the other AAs used dual 2-Hour moves. I can't really remember if EV had a 2nd. Anyway, she did use Spirits Within on someone else and as you know, Spirits reflects HP & TP%. She had full health from Benediction and used Spirits. Needless to say, the RDM fell over.

Kinda strange then for me.

The TT didn't use blood weapon (manafont yes).. hell, he didn't even hit us with a single melee attack or guillotine like I read. The hume didn't mijin either.. the only death we had was on the galka AA. He did the 2 hour (I won't even attempt to spell it correctly ) 4 times, which lead to the untimely demise of our war.

Watching that galka jump was funny though

Hmm... Now that you mention it, I don't remember the Blood Weapon on TT either... I do remember that GK did Call Wyvern as well as Meikyo Shisui. As for Mijin from HM... he didn't use anything but a specialized WS called Cross Reaver. I think EV did use Invincibility once but she used Benediction all 3 times. MR was weak but sexy Either way, these battles were really fun despite the deaths. TT was making the melees mad cuz he kept teleporting, but we mages were able to keep lock on him

When I did it, EV used Invincable at 50%, then Benedition at abotu 25%. We kited her around the arena

Tarutaru, used Manafont ... at 50%, then bloodweapon shortly after. If the Tarutaru is following someone around and not porting around he is in bloodweapon.

Mithra, Perfect Dodge at around 50% and Charm at around 40%

Galka, summoned Wyvern at start then spammed Meikyo Shisyu the rest of the fight, he used it about 5 or 6 times, as we kited him around.

And Lasty HM, we just tanked him straight up, and now that I think about it we did do it twice, had our paladin die straight up at the start like yours did, we did managed to kite him around and rez her up and run out though with no wait.

I love it! It's so clear that you put so much time into requests and your pictures, thanks so much. The only part that's got me down is that I'm kinda trying to decided between RDM and BLM atm, and your pics make both look good. RDM is much higher so I might just go with that. XD
