DYNAMIS BASTOK
Again, the NA Dynamis Shell decides to do another Dynamis run. This time, Bastok. Bastok was mega easy compared to San'Doria. I do believe the layout of Bastok Mines contribute to why its easier than South San'Doria. We were doing awesome until a sacrifice pull went awry. It still isn't clear what happened (whether someone was too close to the train or someone healed the sacrifice puller, we all hit a massive death). This ultimately put a stop to run despite the multi-timer extensions that we got. In the end, it was a lucky day for Dragoons, Samurais, Paladins, Thieves, and Black Mages. (I lotted 117 on the AF2 Tonbans ). We may redo it because the person that sacrificed themselves for the entire group at the end couldn't be raised. So next up, either Dynamis Jeuno or Bastok again.

Now... just briefly looking, these pants look like they stink. The Errant Slops that BLMs wear at level 72+ are better for general use. However, you have to note the effect attached to the AF2 pants. This translates to "If you use a spell that is the same element as the current day, you get a boost in power." Thus, using a Fire spell on Firesday (Aero 3 on Windsday, etc.) gives you a boost on spell damage (much like the elemental staves). The exact amount of increase is unknown (there are theories), but its generally understood that it's more than without these pants. I myself am working to get every elemental staff there is not only for my SMN, but also for my Black Mage. If you can afford it and haven't done so already, you BLMs go get your staves! 10% damage for normal (and 15% damage for HQ) is totally worth it, especially when bursting with IVs & -Ga3s! On a further note, these pants are truly conditional. They are pretty much worthless unless you happen to be leveling & bursting with a spell that matches the current day you're fighting. Each day lasts about an hour so it would only be about 1 hour of fun & uberdamage when using these pants while leveling, but when you do... the effects of it really shine.

Dynamis LS? Yes, we have 2 SAMs. One is quitting (the job) though for whatever reason. Both are 75 I believe.

I figured out how they work and despite the fact that I want them, I'm trying to level up my other jobs.

KIRIN!
Last weekend, my LS planned on fighting Kirin again. I already knew about it but I wasn't around when the roll call was announced, so they didn't ask me until it was time to go. I was asleep when the tell was sent to me (it was schedule around 6 AM my time) but I woke up just in time. Thank goodness for my fixed sleep schedule

Anyway, the plan was to fight him twice. One for our LS and one for another. Our LS got awesome drops (the pole, the osode, and the Wyrmal Abjuration: Legs) while the other LS only got an abjuration. The Wyrmal Abjuration: Legs are very awesome, but I lost the lot on those I passed on the pole and the osode. Oh wells...

Again, I cannot stress how awesome the teamwork is when fighting this guy. This time around, there were 48 of us and our combined teamwork was unflawed. Its so cool...

My LS typically splits all sellable items among everyone (including those who aren't there). In addition, those who need the items will lot on it and pass everything else. As for money... no sellable items dropped from Kirin Well... the Pole & Osode of course, but those items are hard to get and I think the person to sell it at AH, even to get their name on the list, would be a fool to try and sell it.
