Hehe, don't worry. I can't wait; I'd never forget! I'm gonna try going on now, since it's morning and I might get some JP PT invites. XD

/WHM is good. It's all about your preference and what you feel will make you do the job better. I like /BLM a lot and it has its uses. When I started out I used /WHM then switched to /BLM in my mid 50's. Both are really good subs, although I need to get my WHM to 37 >< To kyle5547: You're correct. It is about preference and what will make me do the job better. If at any time, a member of my PT wishes for me to be a BLM sub, I'll do it to help the party's efficiency. I just choose WHM 99.9% of the time because it works best for me. Having both mage jobs available makes you a more valuable player. It's all about being versatile.

Hey this is about the 4 gods monsters, which of them drop the great axe im thinking its the bird one but I dont know and can u tell what it does I not seen any1 on the server with it and I would like to see one so if any one could show me thanks ^^
now time to get ready for my math test im goin to hate ><! To Grodo: Byakko drops it. Since I know you'll ask, Byakko is a Tiger HNM. Vilurum already showed you what the stats were. I have an image of the stats, but I do not have a picture of anyone equipping it. It is just a big Great Axe and it really looks no different.

Btw, Fal, how did Dynamis go this time? To Vilurum: We won. Only 2 AF dropped (Dragoon and Red Mage). I lotted 492 on the Red Mage AF2 (So I guess my birthday dream didn't come true *cry*). It wasn't as "clean" as last week's Bastok. The problem was not because people didn't listen (they did and we did great). We got charmed by the NM in a pull and a lot of people died. I got charmed and followed the train of Dynamis Orcs. The cool thing is, the person they were chasing died so they just "stopped" like mobs normally do when their target dies. I ended up stopping behind all the orcs and my charm wore off. I was untouched and I ran to safe spot! Next week is Jeuno.

Happy belated BDay ^^ I wanted to ask what level your RDM was when you soloed for yoru Assualt, I couldn't remember if you got it to 75 or not. To Ka1'E1: Thank you! I was level 75 RDM/WHM when I beat Ose. Because of my equipment I have on my Red Mage, I nuke for as much as standard equipment RDM/BLM.

Happy Birthday Fal. And thank you for being an exelent story teller. To Nixles: Thanks Nixie. As for the story telling part, I wouldn't necessarily call myself a storyteller. I just post the pictures! *blush*

Dynamis Sandoria
Pictures of last night's Dynamis effort. Only 2 pieces of AF dropped (Dragoon and Red Mage). I lotted 492 on the Red Mage AF2 (cry). Maybe better luck next time huh? We won and only had 1 near-wipeout due to the NM that mass-charms everyone. Everyone did a wonderful job last night and keep up the good work!
Soloing Ose is still quite impressive. WHM sub would definitely be a necessity, but even then, that paralysis is nasty with a capital NASTY. Congratulations on Dynamis-San d'Oria, and good luck on Dynamis-Jeuno.
I wouldn't consider low AF2 drops to be *that* much of an issue. If you want better odds on lots for drops, you can go with a smaller group to "farm", and if you want to beat the place, you can go with a bigger group. It may be 3 days between every Dynamis, but that conceivably means 10 Dynamis runs a month, which is not particularly infrequent. (It's more frequent than king HNMs spawn, after all.)
Who's organizing these, by the way?
Averter of the Apocalypse~
Unique quests complete: 330-something, keep losing count.
Mission plot lines complete: Windurst, Bastok, San d'Oria, Zilart, Promathia.
Maps not yet obtained: Promyvion-Dem, Promyvion-Mea, Promyvion-Holla, Promyvion-Vahzl, Sacrarium.

Who's organizing these, by the way? To Vilurum: Yeah, it was scary. The first time I tried a shot at him, I was with my DRK70 friend. He kept hitting me with Blaster. This time around, he only did it once.
Well, AF2 is not our primary goal for now. I mean after all, last night we only got 2 of them. Our goal is to complete the normal four so we can start heading up to the Northlands. I assume that once we defeat the normal four, we'll keep repeating it until everyone is ready for Beaucedine and Xarcabard.
As for going with a smaller group, I think the reason is cost and probability of death. The mobs are very hard to kill because of the possibility of huge amounts of links. Just past the pond in Sandoria, you have a several links only a fairly big group can handle (2-3 stones plus X amount of Orcs based on how fast you can kill the stones). These suckers are stronger than IT (at least IT). It would be very similar to fighting up in The Shrine of Ru'Avitau and having 5 or 6 Aura Statues at once. It gets pretty nasty. The cost of 1 million isn't too nice either. Also, there are lots of people who don't have time to go. If you don't recall, we used to do Dynamis Fridays. We had several low attendance problems because people actually like to go do things on Friday (plus several members have a JP Dynamis Linkshell they go with). I wouldn't mind going, but going in a big group helps us survive.
The person who runs it now is Slacker and Jonas (taken over from Aurorine and BJBreeze).

Awwww
/melt to Fal's charm
You called me by my favourite name.
Cheers!! :
On another note, I did Dynamis Bastok the other day, it didn't go so well, and we didn't clear it (bum rushed at a time-giver thingy and most people died XD) and then we were just out of time.
Think we're doing Sandoria this weekend.^^
Hope WHM caps drop there.
They're nothing special, but I would still like to have one.

As for Bastok, sorry about that. That's how it used to go with the old group we had. Everything always ended up being a bum rush for time because we would get a wipe-out way too much. Better luck next time Nixie & I hope you get your AF2 Hat. Nobody can have as bad of luck as I do.

Windurst M9-2 (BCNM & Battle)
I took pictures of this battle/mission because it seemed pretty interesting. I know I haven't shown any of the Windurst Missions before (I never really thought I would start taking screenshots of missions until recently). I know that by posting this, you will have missed a big chunk of the Windurst story, but nevertheless, they are high-resolution screenshots that are worthy of posting up on this page.
I'm not sure if it would be considered a spoiler, since 1/3rd of you have allegiance to Bastok and Sandoria. I'll put the spoiler warning up anyway. Enjoy the final mission of Windurst.
BTW, Ajido-Marujido is a badass. 8) He has a /say "macro" for his spellcasting, but I didn't get any of it in the screenshots (as I had a specific role to play in my party). For those of you that are wondering, the lineup was: Beastmaster, Monk, White Mage, Black mage, Red Mage, Bard. We beat the currently record (which isn't really much since servers reset frequently). Anyway, the usual warning...
Windurst M9-2 (Part 2 - Aftermath)
My apologies for wearing the Pumpkin Hat in the latter half of the cutscene. When we returned to Windurst, I took a shot at giving an NPC a fruit and he gave me this hat. So I was really happy and wore it. I'm supposed to be rank 9 (now 10) badass adventurer and I go visit the Star Sybil wearing a Halloween hat.
Hey Fal. Great pics! Especially the CoP missions. Too lazy to get the promyvions done though (Tried once died... waste of 4 hours = not anxiously wanting to do again lol) I'm thinking of getting of my lazy hume bum and switching nations from Bastok to Windurst since I do so much stuff relating there. The story seems very good. Keep them coming :D
